Lehmanski Busts to Clee

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Max Lehmanski
Max Lehmanski

In a battle hijack versus cutoff, Maxi Lehmanski was all-in and at risk for around 80,000 on the {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and he faced Terence Clee with the far superior stack.

Maxi Lehmanski: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Terence Clee: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Lehmanski had several outs to avoid the elimination but the {8-Hearts} on the river was not what he was looking for.

"He was the stone bubble last year with pocket jacks," Mike Del Vecchio next to Clee said, as he witnessed the bubble back then first-hand.

Another Dub for Stang

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Bernie Stang opened for 11,500 in the small blind and called when big blind Paawan Bansal made it about 80,000 to go. That left only 20,000 or so back for Stang, and he stuck that in on the {5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} flop. Bansal shook his head but called with a sigh.

Stang: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Bansal: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Bansal had been outflopped and his slim hopes were extinguished on the {q-Hearts} turn.

Stark Eliminated by Lampropulos

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Maria Lampropulos had defended her big blind against a raise by Shane Stark in early position and the turn showed {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades}. Stark ended up all-in for what appeared to be 67,000 and Lampropulos made the call.

Shane Stark: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Maria Lampropulos: {3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Stark needed an ace, five or six to double, instead it came the {2-Diamonds} on the river that further improved Lampropulos to a full house.

Burns Can't Call a Shove

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Thomas Fairrie checked from the blinds on {j-Spades}{2-Hearts}{a-Hearts} and Kahle Burns bet 6,300 from the button. Fairrie came back with 15,000 and they went to a {q-Hearts} turn for that price. Fairrie checked the flushing card and then called 23,000. On the {a-Clubs} river, Fairrie came out with an all-in bet worth 89,300. Burns needs about a minute then let it go.

Stang Doubles With Aces

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Bernie Stang opened to 8,000 and Paawan Bansal three-bet to 18,000. Stang four-bet all in for 53,300 and Bansal tank-called.

Bernie Stang: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Paawan Bansal: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

Bansal was going to need some help, but received none on the {8-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Spades} board as Stang doubled up.
