Boivin Doubles Through Flutur

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Thomas Boivin
Thomas Boivin

Thomas Boivin had all but his last T-5,000 chip in from the cutoff and his sole remaining opponent was Sorin Flutur in the big blind, who had checked the {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} turn. Boivin let his shot clock run down to one second and moved all-in, Flutur called.

Thomas Boivin: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}
Sorin Flutur: {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Only a jack would send Boivin to the rail and the river came a blank {10-Hearts} to keep the Belgian in contention.

"It's Not My Day, Definitely Not My Day"

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Raphael Wimmer shoved from the hijack for 92,000 and Laurent Michot shoved too for 194,000 on the button. The blinds quickly folded so the cards could go on their backs.

Raphael Wimmer: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Laurent Michot: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The flop came {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Michot commented: "It's not my day, definitely not my day," as Wimmer hit a full house.

The turn was the {2-Clubs} and the river completed the board with the {6-Spades} as Wimmer secured the double-up.

Lybaert Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Bart Lybaert was the initial button raiser and ended up betting the {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} turn for 90,000 when Victor Bogdanov in the big blind had checked to him. Bogdanov made the call and checked again the {j-Spades} on the river.

Lybaert now fired a bet of 95,000 and Bogdanov burned through three time bank extensions before sending his cards into the muck.

Dinesh Alt
Dinesh Alt

Mohamed Mokrani raised to 12,000 from the cutoff and Dinesh Alt three-bet to 51,000 on the button. Gaby Livshitz four-bet to 106,000 in the small blind and action folded back to Mokrani who took some time for laying his hand down. Alt responded with a five-bet to 161,000 and Livshitz six-bet-shoved with the bigger stack which Alt called.

Dinesh Alt; {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Gaby Livshitz: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades} for Livshitz to hit top two pair on the flop immediately to eliminate Alt.
