Vieira Trending in the Wrong Direction

Level 7 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Sam Grafton raised to 8,000 from under the gun and was called by Henrik Hecklen on his left. Joao Vieira three-bet to 20,000 in the cutoff and the action folded all the way back to Hecklen who called.

The flop came {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades} and both players checked to the {9-Spades} on the turn. Hecklen led out with a bet of 26,000 on the turn and Vieira was forced to lay his hand down.

Dvoress Jams Into Mateos

Level 7 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

Orpen Kisacikoglu opened to 9,000 from under the gun and was called by Daniel Dvoress in the cutoff. Philip Sternheimer also came along on the button and Adrian Mateos stuck in a three-bet from the small blind. The action folded back to Dvoress who four-bet ripped all in. Sterneheimer folded but Mateos snapped it off.

Daniel Dvoress: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Adrian Mateos: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and the pair of fives was not enough for Dvoress to overtake Mateos. The stacks were counted and Dvoress was the player at risk for 348,000 with Mateos having him covered by exactly 1,000.

Derwiche Felt It Coming

Level 7 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Philip Sternheimer opened to 9,000 in the cutoff and Pedro Garagnani called from the small blind. Imad Derwiche three-bet shoved all in for 156,000 from the big blind and Sternheimer looked him up.

Imad Derwiche: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Philip Sternheimer: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

"Good job, buddy," Derwiche pre-congratulated Sternheimer. Derwiche rose from his seat to video the runout of {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}, giving Sternheimer the best hand with the ace on the river.

"Bah, bah, bah. Thank you guys," Derwiche said as he headed for the exit.

Bruno Volkmann: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Ben Heath: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Heath made a set of eights on the flop to send Volkmann to the rail.

Bedell Pips Bujtas

Level 7 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Laszlo Bujtas raised to 9,000 in early position and was called by Tom-Aksel Bedell from a couple of seats over. The rest of the table folded and the dealer spread the flop of {q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

Both players checked and the {7-Diamonds} landed on the turn. Bujtas led out with a bet of 12,000 this time and Bedell called to see the {2-Hearts} on the river.

Bujtas fired out another bet of 35,000 this time and Bedell used one of his time banks before making the call. Bujtas tabled {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for top pair but Bedell had {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for the better kicker.

Volkmann Takes From Bedell, Heath Takes From Volkmann

Level 6 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Sam Greenwood raised to 7,000 and Bruno Volkmann three-bet to 28,500. Tom-Aksel Bedell four-bet to 77,000 from the button and the blinds folded before Greenwood got out of the way. Action was heads up and Volkmann considered his options for several moments before he shoved around 230,000. It was too much for Bedell and he mucked with a sigh.

On the next hand, Ben Heath raised to 7,500 from middle position and Volkmann made it 24,000 from the button. Heath fired back with 68,000 and Volkmann went into the tank for a few brief moments before he got away from it.
