Garagnani Out, O'Dwyer Wins the Side Pot

Level 6 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

After being dwindled down to just 500 chips, Pedro Garagnani was forced all in from the small blind. However, there was a side pot building between Ole Schemion and Steve O'Dwyer with a little over 50,000 to play for.

The flop fell {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Schemion check-called a bet of 12,500 from O'Dwyer. The turn brought the {10-Spades} and both players checked through to the {2-Hearts} on the river.

Two more checks and all three hands were turned over. Schemion showed {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} but O'Dwyer held {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs} to win the side pot. Garagnani was only able to muster {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and was eliminated on his first bullet.

Adams Throws Some Shade on Grafton

Level 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Timothy Adams opened to 5,500 in early position and was called by Sam Grafton in the big blind. They went heads-up to a flop of {10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Grafton check-called a continuation bet of 5,000 from Adams.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and Grafton checked again. Adams fired another barrel of 17,000 and Grafton took some time before mucking his cards.

"Six-three of hearts?" Adams questioned. "You lost all respectability with me," he continued. Adams proceeded to troll Grafton by telling the table about one time when Grafton was clearly wasting time before folding on a live stream.

"Come on Christoph, you're not gonna back me up here?" Grafton pleaded. "You're the perfect guy to have at the table in this spot."

The two continued some table banter but Grafton could be overheard once more. "Don't come to London and start trash-talking me!"

Bujtas Greeted with a Three-Bet

Level 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Laszlo Bujtas just took a seat for the first time today and immediately opened to 6,000 from the hijack. Ben Heath called on the button and Sam Greenwood three-bet to 30,000 from the small blind. Bujtas laid his hand down but Heath called to see a flop of {j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}.

Greenwood continued with a bet of 18,000 and Heath stuck around to see the {q-Diamonds} on the turn. Both players checked and the {9-Clubs} completed the board.

Greenwood fired out another bet of 33,000 and Heath quickly stuck in a chip to call. Greenwood flashed a pair of queens but Heath had the best kicker with {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} to scoop the pot.
