Chidwick Scorches Burns

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a board of {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, Stephen Chidwick in the big blind bet 3,500 and Kahle Burns three-bet to 15,000 from under the gun. Chidwick responded with a three-bet to put Burns all in and the Australian called.

Kahle Burns: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Stephen Chidwick: {j-Spades}{8-Spades}

Burns had a big overpair but Chidwick had flopped the nut straight. The board finished out {j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Burns hit the rail.

"Good flop," Chidwick whispered.

Bujtas Hits Turn to Oust Ruijs

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Joris Ruijs had gotten his remaining stack of approximately 18,000 in from the small blind and was at risk against Laszlo Bujtas in middle position.

Joris Ruijs: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Laszlo Bujtas: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}

Ruijs was in good shape for a double on the {q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop, but the {10-Clubs} hit the turn, and an ace failed to appear on the {q-Spades} river. Ruijs found the top €100,000 bounty yesterday during the €10,200 Mystery Bounty tournament on his way to a fourth-place finish, but he wasn't able to transfer that good fortune onto this hand, and he made his exit from the table as Bujtas added to his stack.

Adrian Mateos raised in early position and Damian Salas defended out of the big blind.

The river brought the {3-Clubs} and Salas led out for 14,000. Mateos quickly folded to send the pot to the 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event champion.

Orpaz Raises Antonius, Antonius Raises Orpaz

Level 9 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Tom Orpaz - Patrik Antonius
Tom Orpaz - Patrik Antonius

The floor was called to Table 1 to address confusion during the final hand before the break between Patrik Antonius and Tom Orpaz.

As Antonius told the floor, he bet 2,500 on the flop of {k-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Orpaz threw out two 5,000 chips, which the floor ruled was a raise to 10,000. Orpaz argued that he threw out the chips one at a time and had meant to call. The floor determined that Orpaz had made a singular motion and therefore it would be a raise.

"Whatever, it's a raise. I meant to raise, anyway," he joked.

Antonius then reraised to 22,000 and Orpaz called before checking dark. The turn brought the {4-Hearts} and Antonius pushed all in, prompting a snap-fold from Orpaz.

It might have been a bluff from Antonius as he showed the {5-Diamonds}, but Orpaz had already turned away from the table.
