Thomas Lilamand raised to 40,000 in the cutoff before Anton Suarez three-bet to 115,000 in the small blind. Lilamand then moved all in, and Suarez snap-called for 420,000.
Anton Suarez: K♠K♦
Thomas Lilamand: J♥J♠
Lilamand had run into Suarez's kings, and Suarez held on through the 10♦6♣2♦5♣3♣ board to win the pot and double up.
Petrus Brandt opened to 40,000 from under the gun. Leo Worthington-Leese called from the hijack, then Nolan King raised all-in for 250,000. Brandt went into the tank but folded, while Whorthington-Leese quickly called.
Nolan King: 3♦3♣
Leo Worthington-Leese: 8♦8♣
Worthington-Leese kept the lead all the way through a board of Q♥J♠6♦10♥2♠ and King was eliminated.
Cesar Garcia raised to 40,000 in middle position and Marc Foggin called in the hijack. Youssef Zereg then three-bet to 185,000 in the cutoff.
Anthony Apicella moved all in for 300,000 in the small blind and both Garcia and Foggin quickly folded, but Zereg snap-called to put Apicella at risk.
Anthony Apicella: A♠J♠
Youssef Zereg: A♥K♣
Apicella was dominated and needed to improve to stay alive, and the 6♥3♠6♠ flop gave him outs to a flush. The 5♥ turn was no help, while the river was the 4♦ and Zereg's king-kicker secured him the pot and the knockout.
At another table, Ramon Colillas and Rifat Palevic were on the river with the board showing 5♠A♠A♥7♣3♥. Colillas then bet 60,000 from under the gun and Palevic raised to 330,000 in the hijack.
Colillas took a few minutes before calling, and Palevic turned over 7♦7♠ for a full house to win the big pot.
Michael Uguccioni opened to 40,000 from early position and Yohan Rascar three-bet to 120,000 in the cutoff. When he got back to Uguccioni, he just called.
Both players checked all the way to the river on the 6♦4♠2♣7♠10♦ board, where Uguccioni bet 70,000. Rascar seemed suspicious and eventually did call.
Uguccioni showed A♠K♣ for ace-high with a king kicker, and that kicker was crucial as Rascar's A♣Q♠ was no good.
Tobias Leknes opened 10♥10♦ to 40,000 from early position and Michael Uguccioni called with K♦Q♦ from the hijack. John Woods was in the cutoff and squeezed it up to 130,000 with K♥J♠, which sent Leknes into the tank for a while.
Eventually, Leknes called, and Uguccioni also called to see the Q♥5♣6♣ flop. When it checked to Woods, he bet 100,000, which got Leknes to fold. Uguccioni called with his pair of queens.
Woods picked up a gutshot on the 9♣ turn and when it got to him, he decided to knuckle back after using a time bank.
An 8♦ completed the board and put a four-liner out there, which Uguccioni checked over to Woods. With around 475,000 left in his stack, Woods decided to check it back, and watched the pot head to his opponent when Uguccioni flashed his pair of queens.
On a flop of 3♣4♣8♥, after Marco Bich in the big blind bet 65,000, Jimmy Kebe on the button raised to 155,000. Bich then moved all-in for approximately 400,000 and Kebe snap-called.
Marco Bich: 10♣10♦
Jimmy Kebe: J♣8♣
Bich was in the lead with an over-pair, but Kebe had a pair and a flush draw. The 2♣ turn followed by the 2♥ river completed the flush and Bich was eliminated.
Rifat Palevic on the button and big blind Ferdinando D'Alessio exchanged raises before the flop until both players had all their chips in the middle with around 2,500,000 at stake.
Ferdinando D'Alessio: A♦Q♠
Rifat Palevic: A♠K♠
Palevic had D'Alessio dominated and was poised to take down the massive pot. The board ran out 3♠7♦7♥J♠6♥ and Palevic's king-kicker continued to play to secure him the pot.
The stacks were counted down and Palevic barely had D'Alessio's 1,235,000 covered, sending D'Alessio crashing to the rail.
Yohan Rascar raised to 40,000 from under the gun with A♠3♠ and Tomasz Brzezinski looked down at J♠J♦ in the cutoff before he three-bet to 100,000. Rascar called.
The flop down 5♣10♣K♦ and Rascar checked it over to Brzezinski, who made a continuation-bet of 60,000.
Lars Tungel joined the table and with his stack of 2,105,000.
Sergio Carro Marin raised to 40,000 on the button, Jacobus Verberk moved all in for 130,000 in the small blind, and Marin called.
Jacobus Verberk: J♠5♣
Sergio Carro Marin: K♣10♠
The K♥5♥4♣ flop gave both players a pair, while Marin was ahead with his kings. Verberk couldn't catch up on the Q♠ turn or 6♥ river, and he was sent to the rail.
