Sebastian Ionita raised to 125,000 under the gun before Youssef Zereg three-bet to 400,000 in the hijack. Ionita used a time bank before folding.
The next hand, Julian Pineda Lozano opened to 120,000 under the gun and Hugo Gotuzzo shoved for 770,000 on the button. Pineda Lozano confirmed the amount with the dealer, but soon after threw his cards into the muck.
From under the gun, Sergio Carro Marin raised to 125,000 with A♦4♦ and only Anton Suarez called holding 2♠2♦ from the hijack.
Marin started with a check on the J♦3♣A♠ flop, and Suarez took the betting lead by firing out 130,000. Marin called.
The 3♥ hit the turn and Marin check-called a second bet from Suarez, this time 325,000.
A 10♥ rolled of on the river and Marin checked again. Suarez put together a third and final barrel of 800,000, which was enough to get Marin to lay his hand down.
Lauri Saaskilahti shoved the cutoff and got it through, boosting his stack to over 1,100,000.
Shortly after, Sebastian Ionita opened to 125,000 from early position and Julian Pineda Lozano three-bet to 375,000 from middle position. When it got back to Ionita, he called.
Despite the preflop action, the two players checked all the way to showdown on the 7♠10♦4♥8♦8♠ runout, where Ionita showed king-high with K♣Q♣. Lozano had that beat with A♦K♠ for ace-high, which earned him the pot.

Alejandro Romero raised to 100,000 under the gun before Anton Suarez three-bet to 275,000 in the cutoff. Romero then four-bet to 650,000 and Suarez called.
The flop came 5♦2♥2♣ and Romero bet 350,000. Suarez then raised to 700,000, Romero moved all in for 1,355,000, and Suarez called.
Alejandro Romero: A♣K♠
Anton Suarez: J♥J♣
Suarez was ahead with his two pair, and the Q♣ turn and 9♣ river were no help to Romero who was eliminated.
At the same time at the other outer table, Sebastian Ionita had opened to 100,000 in the hijack and Martin Nielsen shoved for 840,000 in the cutoff. The table folded back to Ionita who called to put Nielsen at risk.
Martin Nielsen: A♠J♥
Sebastian Ionita: 8♠8♣
"Jack of justice," Nielsen called out heading to the flop, which came 2♠10♦10♥. The 9♣ turn kept Ionita in the lead, while the river was the 5♣ to seal Nielsen's bustout.
Romero and Nielsen split 18th and 17th place, each taking €57,025.
Cesar Garcia opened to 100,000 in the cutoff and Sebastian Ionita three-bet to 275,000 on the button. Garcia then used a time bank before four-betting to 650,000 to bring a quick fold from Ionita.
Julian Pineda Lozano raised to 100,000 from the cutoff before Marc Foggin jammed for 1,330,000 out of the small blind. Once the big blind folded, Lozano put in the call to try and bust Foggin.
Marc Foggin: A♥10♥
Julian Pineda Lozano: A♦Q♦
Lozano had the better ace and Foggin looked likely to be the next casualty of the Main Event.
However, the flop of 10♠3♦K♦ gave Foggin a pair to put him in the lead, although Lozano had a lot of outs with two cards to come. The 3♠ on the turn was safe for Foggin, and the 10♦ river may have improved Lozano to a flush, but Foggin was upgraded to a boat.
