Song Raises Most of It on the River

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Stephen Song raised to 50,000 in early position and was called by Andrew Kang in the hijack and Anatoly Nikitin in the big blind.

The flop came J75 and Song continued for 60,000. Only Nikitin called.

Both players checked the 10 turn before Nikitin led out for 30,000 on the 3 river. Song then raised to 210,000, leaving himself just one 5,000 chip behind. Nikitin took a few minutes until calling, and Song showed A10 for a pair of tens. Nikitin also said he had a ten as he mucked.

Sepiol Takes a Bite Out of Kyte

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Jon Kyte opened to 50,000 in middle position and Dan Sepiol flat-called from the cutoff. They went heads-up to a flop of A33 and Kyte continued with a bet of 40,000. Sepiol just called and the 4 landed on the turn.

Kyte sized up another bet of 140,000 and Sepiol stuck around for the K on the river. Kyte shut it down with a check this time and Sepiol checked it back. Kyte turned over 55 but Sepiol had the goods with AJ to claim the pot.

Hardcastle Raced Out by Dobrigna; Tan Unbeatable

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Jack Hardcastle
Jack Hardcastle

Jack Hardcastle moved all in for 275,000 in the hijack and Loic Dobrigna called in the cutoff.

Jack Hardcastle: 33 All in
Loic Dobrigna: AQ

Hardcastle quickly fell behind on the 9Q8 flop as Dobrigna hit top pair. The rest of the board ran out 24 and Hardcastle was eliminated.

At another table, Johnny Tan was all in for 200,000 from the button and up against Terrance Reid in the big blind.

Johnny Tan: 22 All in
Terrance Reid: 109

Tan remained in the lead on the QK4 flop, but Reid hit a pair on the 9 turn to move in front. The river, though, was the 2 and Tan caught another miracle to double up.

"In this tournament, when you're all in, you're just unbeatable," Reid told him.

"We all are," Jeff Madsen chimed in.
