Bechahed Missteps at the Wrong Time

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Ian O'Hara raised to 8,000 in the hijack and Sami Bechahed called from the small blind along with the big blind. The flop came 992 and the action checked around to the 6 on the turn.

Bechahed led out with a bet of 14,000 which got the big blind to fold but O'Hara called to see the A on the river. Bechahed checked this time and O'Hara splashed in a bet of 15,000. Bechahed check-raised all in and O'Hara snapped him off.

Bechahed quickly tabled his 86 but mucked it just as fast when O'Hara showed K9 for the winner. O'Hara's stack of 144,000 was counted out and Bechahed was forced to pay it off.

Wiper Spikes a One-Outer to Survive

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Ketan Shah raised to 8,000 on the button before Charles Wiper moved all in for 44,000 in the small blind. Nissar Quraishi called in the big blind, while Shah got out of the way.

Charles Wiper: KK All in
Nissar Quraishi: 77

Wiper was a big favorite to double up with his kings until the flop brought 10107, giving Quraishi a full house. Wiper shot out of his seat and was preparing to make his exit as the 5 fell on the turn, but the river brought the K to give him a full house and secure the double up.

"I was generally leaving," Wiper said as he sat back down. Shah then admitted he had folded a king.

Renkey on the Come Up After Taking Out Newman

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Christian Renkey and Graeme Newman saw the turn on a board of 310A7 when Newman bet 15,000 from the hijack. Renkey then moved all in from middle position.

"This would be the ultimate slowroll if you have aces," Renkey said to Newman, who tanked for several minutes before calling for his last 70,000.

Newman showed KK, but Renkey had A7 for top pair and secured the knockout once the Q completed the board on the river.

"Right before break, I'm on the come up," Renkey said after the hand.
