King's Casino regular known as BKRF Investments just shared with us an interesting hand where blinds were posted in correctly at 200/400 when the levels went up to 300/600. BKRF told us he was at first disappointed when he was dealt in late position after a misdeal was declared. However, he shared with us that he likely saved 30,000 chips after he learned Kaufmann two seats away from him held .
Karl-Heinz Metz exited the tournament after two rough hands where he lost a set of two's to a straight. Afterwards he got it in good with top pair against his opponent's flush draw. However, luck was not on Metz's side as the flush came for his opponent on the river.
Metz informed us he plans to re-enter the tournament and we will likely see him back in action again shortly.
King's Casino tournament director Michal Pipta has been extremely helpful to us throughout the tournament. He has also been very busy with the late entrants piling in and wanting to know where to sit. We are now up to 350 entrants, with 56 players already hitting the showers leaving us with 294 players currently in their seats.
Just like many other players, Alexander Feliers re-entered again today on Day 1C again after he gave it a shot in both of the last two starting days in our Main Event. So far, every time he failed just before reaching Day 2. Whether this will change today, seems currently questionable because just he suffered a severe setback when he hit against a flush but lost two pair on the river.
The five players limped into the pot and saw a flop of . Huseyn Erbey led out for 1,200, which was raised by Feliers to 2,600. Erbey got out of the way, however, Frank Rohrmuller called to see the turn.
On the turn came the . Feliers checked, his opponent bet 3,000, and Feliers called.
The spiked the river, which turned out to be a good card for both players. Rohrmuller bet 18,000, and the action paused while Feliers was thinking things over. Feliers called, and was disappointed when he two-pair was no match for Rohrmuller's flush.
As it usually happens, those who did not leave the King’s Casino after the end of the Day 1b engaged in some lively talks about the most interesting hands they have played or witnessed throughout the day. And yes, there's ben a lot of whining too.
Being the PokeNews Cup a tournament that was created right to bring new players into the game, one should not be too surprised to witness some unusual action or some unexpectedly big raises already during the very first levels of play.

During a long day of poker, muscles tighten. At King's Casino, massages are available for €1 per minute during some of the bigger events. That being said, the first masseuse just came in the room and smiled a hello to our live reporting crew.
Walking around the tables at the Day 1c, we couldn’t help but to notice that Austria’s Sinisa Teodorovic is in the field right now. In case you are not familiar with his name, you should keep in mind that this guy surely knows how to play.
Third in Bosnia & Herzegovina all-time money list with $223,652 in live tournament winnings, Teodorovic’s list of results includes a victory in the Concord Million for $207,706 and a third-place finish in an Eureka Poker Tour Main Event for $4,249.
Despite his successes in the past, Teodorovic is still looking for his first remarkable result in 2015 - and the PokerNews Cup may be just the one he was looking for.
