James Forces a Fold

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

David Farkas raised from under the gun to 2,000 and found a quick call from Georgina James to his left. The rest of the table folded leaving the hand heads up.

Farkas continued on the {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop for 2,000 and James called to the {2-Spades} turn.

Both players checked to the {7-Diamonds} river, where James followed a check from Farkas by firing 3,000. Farkas folded, as James took down the pot.

Defending Champ Tangles With Botez

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Alexandra Botez
Alexandra Botez

Defending PSPC champion Ramon Colillas was out of position in a heads-up pot against chess streamer Alexandra Botez on a flop of {2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Thinking the action was on her, Botez bet a 5,000 chip before the floor determined the bet would stand depending on Colillas' action. Colillas bet 3,300 and Botez took her bet back before calling.

The turn brought the {7-Spades} and Colillas bet 4,000. Botez went in the tank for over a minute and folded.

The chess pro is putting the poker chops that she earned playing against the likes of Phil Hellmuth on Hustler Casino Live to good use and has a stack of around 92,000.

Michael Carlson raised it up to 2,200 in early position and Bastian Hess just called from the hijack. Bouzid Maroki three-bet to 7,500 in the small blind and Carlson called. Hess dropped in a four-bet of 100,000, enough to put his two opponents to the test for their remaining chips. Maroki gave it some thought before calling off his stack of 26,300 while Carlson gave his hand up.

Bouzid Maroki: {a-Spades}{5-Spades}
Bastian Hess: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

The flop came {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Hess was still way out front with his pocket aces. The {a-Hearts} on the turn gave Hess a full house and Maroki was left drawing dead to the {j-Clubs} on the river.

Tulin Heros Grafton; Knosalla Flops Set Then Busts

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

Nikolai Tulin opened to 2,200 from the button before Sam Grafton three-bet to 10,500 from the blinds. Tulin called.

The {10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop checked through to the {5-Hearts} turn and Grafton check-called for 8,000.

On the {k-Hearts} turn, Grafton led out for 11,000 and after some thinking time Tulin called. Grafton tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for ace-high and Tulin exposed his {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for the winner.

"Nice call cuz!" shouted Steven Buckner from across that table. "That was beautiful," he added.

The very next hand, Tulin opened to 2,200 from the cutoff and then Jens Knossalla jammed for 7,000 from the button. Dylan Smith made it 12,000 from the big blind and Tulin got out of the way.

Jens Knossalla: {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Dylan Smith: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Knossalla was praying for a five and Buckner was also calling for the German's card.

Knossalla's prayers were answered as he made a set on the {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop. He jumped out of his seat and was celebrating, but was soon brought back down to earth after Smith made a better set on the {j-Clubs} turn. The {a-Hearts} completed the board and Smith took in the pot.

"Nice show for TV," said Knosalla as the cameras were at his table before he departed the PSPC.

Zamani Busts Platinum Pass Winner Boedefeld

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Martin Zamani
Martin Zamani

Martin Zamani was heads up with Thore Boedefeld and all of the chips in the middle on a board showing {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Boedefeld was at risk as the players revealed their holdings.

Thore Boedefeld: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Martin Zamani: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Zamani turned a flush, but Thore's flopped set of queens had outs to keep him alive. The {5-Spades} ended those hopes, as Zamani added to his stack with the knockout.

Bodefeld's run ends after claiming his Platinum Pass through the Easter with Aces promotion from PokerStars Team Pro Fintan Hand.
