Lipton found himself way behind his opponent's pocket aces, but the board runout of gave him a runner-runner two pair to crack the aces and win the hand.
"I knew the king-ten was coming, I just knew it," Lipton said as he was pushed the chips for a double-up.
Meanwhile, his opponent was left with a short stack and busted the very next hand with ace-eight versus ace-nine.

After a raise under-the-gun to 2,000, the middle position player then shipped his stack of 40,000 and was quickly called by big stack Bill Connors. The rest of the players got out of the way and the cards were tabled, with the middle position player at risk.

The middle-positioned player was slightly ahead going into the flip, but the flop of quickly changed that as it gave Connors top two-pair. His opponent could still hit a four or a five to win, but the runout of sealed his fate and he was eliminated. Meanwhile, Connors was pushed the huge pot to boost his already large stack to almost 250,000.

Rich Alsup raised to 2,000 from middle position and was called by Monte Hardinger in late position. Then Taylor Howard in the cutoff raised the price of poker to 7,000 and action folded back around to Alsup.
Apparently this amount was still not enough as Alsup then ripped it all in for 18,800 and Hardinger followed suit for less. Howard quickly made the call and the cards were tabled, with Howard covering.
