On a flop of 6♥Q♣7♥, Greg Raymer got the last of his chips into the middle and another player called to put him at risk.
Greg Raymer: K♥K♥
Opponent: A♦K♦
The runout of Q♦7♠ was clean for Raymer and he was pushed the pot for the double.
"Well you sure waited for that one!" Another player commented.
"Yeah, well it's not like i was folding tens or ace-queen, this was the first good hand I've seen!" Raymer replied as he stacked his new chips.

After an open from Patrick Ray to 2,500 and a call, Jesse Jones three-bet to 9,000.
He was called by Jessica Roberts in the big blind and Ray came along as well to see a flop of 3♦3♣9♥.
The action checked to Jones who continued for 6,000 and this produced a fold from Roberts, but then Ray check-raised to 35,000 to cover Jones, who quickly called.
"Agh, you win," Ray sighed as the cards were tabled.
Jesse Jones: K♦K♠
Patrick Ray: A♦Q♠
The runout of 5♠Q♦ changed nothing and the pot was pushed over to Jones for the double.

The Rungood Poker Series kicked off on Tuesday, September 24 at 10:00 am with the $250 Seniors Event. The first ring event of the series pulled out a total of 211 entrants and created a prizepool of $44,200 to be divided between 28 players.
As the tournament winded to a close, the final table of nine was set and the action continued with many lead changes and tournament defining pots. The start of final table chip leader Troy Courson lost a massive pot to Chris Record to leave Record with massive lead with five players left.
Shortly after that, Greg Raymer was eliminated in fifth place by Mario Webster and after that some talks ensued between the remaining four players. Eventually a deal was reached that saw Record taking home the lionshare of the money in play and his first RGPS ring. Record dedicated his ring to his father who passed away almost a year ago and he will be here the whole week playing the remainder of the events.

On a heads-up turn of 3♥K♣7♠5♠, Jacob Long checked to Joseph Fine who bet 6,000 into the pot of 10,000.
Long then put in a check-raise to 18,000 and Fine thought about it for a few moments before he made the call.
On the river A♣, Long fired out for 20,000 and received a quick fold from Fine to award him the pot.
"I got there," Long admitted as he tabled A♥8♥ for a rivered pair of aces.
"Yeah, i figured as much," Fine sighed as he watched the dealer push the chips over to Long.

On a three-way flop of 5♣2♣10♣, Adam Thomas checked, a player bet 5,000, the button called, and then Thomas check-raised all in for 28,600.
The original raiser thought about it for a few moments before he tossed out a chip to call while eth third player got out of the way.
Adam Thomas: Q♣J♣
Opponent: 2♥2♦
Thomas was ahead with his flush, but he still had to dodge a board pairing as his opponent had a set.
Luckily for him, the runout of 7♣8♠ was clean and he was shipped the pot for a double.
