Mathieu Massicotte-Lecompte Bags Monster Stack to Lead Day 1b Field
The second starting flight of Event #16: $500,000 partypoker Canadain Grand Prix has come to an end with 14 players remaining. Thursday evening's Day 1b attracted a field of 139 entries.
Leading the way at the end of play was Mathieu Massicotte-Lecompte, bagging a top stack of 627,500. Also sitting at the top of the leaderboard were Colin Scheckman (455,000), Anoop Jugurnath (278,500), Dylan Thibault (267,500), and Tina Howie (200,000).
A number of familiar faces around Playground took their shot this evening. A few failing to survive include Joey Boczek, Jonathan Bussieres, Kenneth Wigfield, Carrie Webster, and Grant Ellis.
Players will have nine more opportunities to qualify for Day 2, live at Playground. There are five starting flights on Friday, and another four on Saturday.
