A short-stacked Brian Hastings got his stack of 63,100 all in preflop holding the and was in great shape to double against the of Ben Yu. The flop gave Hastings a full house and left Yu looking for running tens. The turn took away any hope of that happening, and after the was put out on the river, Hastings received a much-needed double.

Jeremy Ausmus opened to 10,000 from under the gun, as the action folded around to Jonathana Duhamel in the small blind. He raised it up to 20,500, before Ausmus opted to move all in for his remaining 91,500 in chips. He was snap called, as the cards were turned over.

The board ran out , to see Ausmus eliminated shortly after returning from the break.
