Former November Niner Gets Some Back

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Jakub Wojtas opened for 600 from middle position and former November Niner and WSOP bracelet winner Steve Gee, who has gotten off to a rough start on Day 1a, three-bet to 1,600 from the hijack. Joel Feldman called out of the small blind, Wojtas came along, and the trio saw a flop of {8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.

Two checks saw Gee continue for 2,700 and only Feldman called to see the {10-Diamonds} turn, which he checked.

Gee upped his bet to 4,300 and that did the trick as Feldman folded.

Jay Farber mucked his losing hand in frustration by lifting his cards into the air and releasing them toward the dealer as his hand was no good after his opponent Adam Ross rivered two pair with {a-}{5-}, the turn being an ace and the river a five.

The 2013 Main Event runner-up shook his head and played with his early dwindled chip count.

Willson Catches a Big Bluff

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Aaron Willson checked a {5-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop from middle position, and Shawn Quinn bet 1,000 into a pot of 2,300 from the hijack. Shay Sarusi raised to 3,600 on the button, Willson called and Quinn folded.

The {j-Clubs} fell on the turn, and Willson checked. Sarusi bet 12,300, and Willson thought for a few moments before verbalizing a call.

Willson checked a third time on the {10-Hearts} river, and Sarusi emptied the clip with a bet of 11,000. Willson paused for just a moment this time before calling, and Sarusi grimaced before tabling {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a pure bluff. Willson rolled over {5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for trip fives, and he took down the big early pot.
