Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante
Daniel Lowery
Daniel Lowery

Daniel Lowery is an accomplished mid-stakes grinder with nine rings and 89 cashes on the WSOP circuit, but he's still looking for his first bracelet. Lowery made the final table and finished ninth in the 2021 $600 Deepstack event, and he's looking for a deep run in the Main Event.

Lowery raised to 800 from middle position and the small blind three-bet to 3,800. Lowery called and the flop was {2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Clubs}.

The small blind checked and Lowery bet 3,000. The small blind called and the turn was {a-Clubs}.

Both players checked the turn and the river was {7-Spades}. Both players checked the final street.

The small blind turned over {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Lowery mucked the losing hand.

Jacobson Extracts Value from Distenfeld

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Janelle Jacobson opened the action from early position to 600. Gershon Distenfeld put in a three-bet to 1,800 from the cutoff. The action folded back to Jacobson who made the call.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. Jacobson check-called Distenfeld's continuation bet of 2,100.

The turn card came the {6-Diamonds}. Jacobson now took the betting lead and tossed out 6,300. Distenfeld tanked for a minute before making the call.

The river came the {2-Hearts}. Jacobson slowed down with a check and Distenfeld fired 11,000. Jacobson snap-called.

Gershon Distenfeld {k-Spades}{9-Spades}
Janelle Jacobson: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}

Distenfeld flopped a gutshot straight draw and chased it to the river. Jacobson flopped a set of sevens and was able to induce a bluff from Distenfeld on the river when she checked it to him.
