Brandon Adams
Brandon Adams

The player under the gun raised to 600. He was called by a player in middle position, Brandon Adams in the small blind, and the big blind completed the action with a call.

The action checked through on the {j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{k-Hearts} flop.

Adams led the {7-Clubs} turn with a big bet of 3,600 which was too expensive for his opponents, they all folded and he scooped a small pot.

Quad Alert

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Three players were in a hand on the river as the board read {8-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

From the small blind, Robert Gibson bet 2,000. The big blind called. Kenneth Donarski was on the button and raised to 6,000. Gibson took a while and look unhappy but called. The big blind folded.

Donarski tabled {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for quads and collected the nice pot to move his stack back up to a healthier amount.

Seiver Bets Big on the River

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

There was already more than 25,000 in the pot when Scott Seiver and an opponent went heads-up to the river on a board of {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}. Seiver's opponent checked and he announced a bet of 15,000, tossing in a green 25,000 chip.

His opponent quickly folded to hand the big pot to Seiver. "I felt like that check was just giving up," a tablemate said.

"I don't know. Scary board. A lot of big hands possible," Seiver replied as he stacked up the chips.

Hawkins Calls Correctly

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

On a board reading {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Spades} with 2,300 in the middle, Maurice Hawkins was on the button and heads up against an opponent who was in the big blind. The big blind bet 1,000 and after some brief consideration, Hawkins tossed in a chip for the call.

The opponent shook his head and turned over {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for five high and Hawkins turned over {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for aces up, which was good for the pot.

Seth Cracks Pocket Kings

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

The player in the hijack raised to 600. He was called by the player in the cutoff but when it was Akash Seth's turn to act from the big blind he three-bet to 2,100. Both the original raiser and the player in the cutoff called going three-ways to the flop.

It came {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and the action checked through.

Seth put in a delayed continuation-bet of 3,700 on the {4-Clubs} turn. He was called by the original raiser but the player in the cutoff folded.

The action checked through the {8-Diamonds} river.

Akash Seth: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Ryan Leng

Ryan Leng and Chris Hunichen saw a flop of {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{2-Spades} three-ways.

The action checked to the turn {6-Diamonds} and Leng bet 1,200.
