Duong Eliminates Two

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Adam Duong raised to 26,000 from early position. Ryan D'Angelo flatted from middle position. The player on the button then jammed all in for about 115,000. Duong re-jammed with the largest stack and D'Angelo called.

Button: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Ryan D'Angelo: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Adam Duong: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The flop came {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts} to make things look dire for the at-risk players. The turn was the {2-Clubs} and the river came the {j-Diamonds} to finish off both shorter stacks and give Duong the big pot.

Amiri and Berkey Chop

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jason Koon was moved over to the secondary feature table as William Nichols and Matthew Ernst were both eliminated.

Ehsan Amiri then raised to 26,000 in the hijack and Matt Berkey called in the cutoff, as did Jack Oliver in the big blind. Only Berkey called a bet worth 25,000 by Amiri on the {7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop and they checked down the {8-Diamonds} turn and {7-Hearts} river. Amiri tabled the {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and chopped, as Berkey had the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}.

Cowboys Good for Lonis

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Jesse Lonis
Jesse Lonis

Eyal Eshkar opened under the gun for 25,000, Jesse Lonis called directly to his left and action folded to Kenneth Johnson who defended his big blind.

The {4-Hearts}{q-Spades}{2-Spades} flop was checked to Eshkar who continued for 40,000. Lonis called and Johnson came along as well to see the {8-Spades} fall on the turn.

All three players checked and the dealer completed the board with the {2-Hearts} on the river.

Action was checked to Lonis who fired out 104,000 and only Johnson called.

Johnson showed {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for top pair but Lonis held a better made hand of {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} to win the pot.

Weinman Wins, Fernandez Loses

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Daniel Weinman raised it up from middle position and was called by the small blind. The flop came {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} and the small blind checked to Weinman who continued for 48,000.

The small blind called and the {k-Diamonds} landed on the turn. Weinman counted out another bet of 132,000 which finally got his opponent to fold.

At the neighbouring table, the button opened to 24,000 and Sergio Fernandez defended from the big blind. On a board of {8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, Fernandez check-called bet of 13,000 on the flop, 57,000 on the turn, and 170,000 on the river. His opponent showed {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for a full house and Fernandez was forced to concede the pot.

Leo Margets
Leo Margets

Ranganath Kanchi limped from early position and Leo Margets shoved for her last 199,000 from the hijack. Action folded back to Kanchi, who called to put Margets at risk.

Ranganath Kanchi: {a-}{k-}
Leo Margets: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}

Margets was dominated, but the {6-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{q-Spades} runout paired Margets eight — awarding her the double up.
