Carrion Holds to Double

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On a three way turn board of {j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, the small blind led out for 11,000, but was then raised by the under-the-gun to 25,000. Action was then on Mateus Carrion De Moraes in early position and he decided to move all in for 69,000.

The small blind original raiser tanked for a good while and elected on a fold and the other player called, putting Carrion at risk.

Mateus Carrion De Moraes: {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Under-The-Gun Opponent: {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The river came the {q-Diamonds} which meant Carrion's two pair held and he scored a nice double up, meanwhile the small blind was moaning about how he folded {a-Spades}{10-Spades}.

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Ali Imsirovich

Ali Imsirovic opened to 8,000 from middle position and received a sole call from the button.

Imsirovic checked on the {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop and then called when the button player led out for 8,000.

The {3-Hearts} turn saw Imsirovic check for a second time. His opponent responded with another bet, this time sizing up to 27,000, prompting Imsirovic to release his cards. Although he lost that particular pot, Imsirovic has had an excellent Day 3 and now finds himself amongst the tournament chipleaders.

Jolly Stays Quiet While Opponent Tanks

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Brant Jolly opened from the cutoff and found a three-bet from his opponent in the cutoff to 24,000. Action folded back to Jolly who four-bet to 67,000. His opponent made the call with just under 200,000 behind.

The dealer put out the {6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{a-Clubs} flop. Jolly continued for a small bet of 28,000, which his opponent called.

The board paired with the {7-Clubs} turn. Jolly checked it to his opponent who checked behind.

On the {2-Clubs} river, Jolly moved a stack of chips into that middle that was enough to cover his opponent, 165,000 effective. His opponent thought for quite some time, tanking for about six minutes, apologizing for how long he was taking. At the end, he began to talk.

"Do you have it? Do you want me to call?" he asked Jolly.

Jolly remained stoic and silent. Finally, his opponent folded and Jolly took down the pot.

Kings for Drake

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

All the chip went in the middle preflop between Laury Vanlerberghe, at risk with a remaining stack worth less than 80,000 and Chandler Drake who had him covered:

Laury Vanlerberghe: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Chandler Drake: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Vanlerberghe couldn't find any miracle throughout the board {4-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts} and joined the rail while Drake racked up the chips.

Aces Bring Joy, Sorrow, Then Joy Again to Sabat

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Eddy Sabat
Eddy Sabat

There was a big preflop all in going on as two very similar stacks were battling preflop:

Daniel Youngblood: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Eddy Sabat: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

Sabat was in good position to bust his slightly covered opponent. But the flop came {8-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} to suddenly make things look dire. The turn flipped the scales again as the {a-Clubs} crushed the hopes of Youngblood. The river came the {3-Spades} and Youngblood's elimination was confirmed when the dealer counted down the stacks.

Allen Doubles Through Wang

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

There was some apparent table chat that Kevin Allen had been in the tank prior to calling all-in for 176,000 in a battle button versus big blind against Ying Wang. "I think that's the $10k Main Event, you gotta take some time to think about it," the Brit mentioned in table chat.

Ultimately, his {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} had flopped two pair while Wang's {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} had flopped the bottom two pair and turned a flush draw on {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{q-Hearts} when the money went in. The {a-Clubs} river improved Allen to aces full of sixes and he scored the double-up.
