Depaulo Getting Short

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Ryan Depaulo opened to 10,000 from middle position and was called by a player in the big blind.

The big blind checked to the preflop raiser after the {9-Clubs}{j-Spades}{k-Clubs} flop and Depaulo continued for 8,000. That bet did not force the big blind out of the hand as he instead flatted.

The {a-Diamonds} rolled off on the turn and once again the big blind checked. Depaulo was in no mood to slow down, firing off 27,000. The continued aggression was still not enough to shed his opponent who called.

The big blind checked for a third time on the {8-Diamonds} river and then snap-called when Depaulo pushed 50,000 into the middle. Depaulo showed down {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} for the flopped two pair but it was not good enough as the big blind flipped over {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for the superior two pair. The pot cost Depaulo a good portion of his stack, leaving him relatively short.

Ryan Feldman

On the side feature table Ryan Feldman moved all in for 38,000 from early position and was called by Austin Apicella on the button.

Ryan Feldman: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Austin Apicella: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop brought in some chop outs but Apicella remained ahead on the {7-Diamonds} turn. The {4-Spades} river completed the board and Feldman was eliminated from the WSOP Main Event.

Yankov Applies Pressure

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The board {7-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{q-Clubs} was already dealt with more than 160,000 in the pot when Krasimir Yankov, in the big blind seat, shoved for around 240,000.

His opponent was at risk for a remaining stack of less than 200,000 and tanked for a few minutes before folding his hand.

Four-Way Pot for Brown

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The flop read {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} in a four-way pot when Jose Lopez checked from the blinds, followed by Igor Yaroshevskyy before a player in middle position bet 16,000. Samuel Brown raised it to 35,000 in the cutoff and it folded back to the middle position who called.

The turn revealed a {8-Clubs} and Brown quickly called another bet from his opponent for 30,000.

The river was the {3-Diamonds} and they both checked. Brown tabled {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and it was good to take the pot and make his opponent muck his hand.
