Lester Edoc started the action in the hijack with a raise to 2,000 and Jamie Kerstetter called in the cutoff. Fernando Rodriguez three-bet to 6,000 in the big blind and after Edoc called, Kerstetter shoved for 38,000.

Rodriguez didn't take long to call and Edoc got out of the way for the following showdown:

Jun Cracks Keating's Aces

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Alex Keating
Alex Keating

Three ways to the 1044 flop, the action checked to Jack Sinclair on the button and he bet 2,000. Jia Jun called out of the big blind before Alex Keating in the hijack check-raised to 7,000 off a short stack. Sinclair folded whereas Jun raised big to 75,000, which had Keating's stack of around 28,000 easily covered.

The call by Keating followed and the cards were exposed.

Alex Keating: AA
Jia Jun: 43

Neither the 8 turn nor the K river came to the rescue of Keating, who quickly left the tournament area. Farhad Jamasi was also no longer found on the same table either.

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Espen Jorstad
Espen Jorstad

Action was picked up in a multiway pot as one player raised to 2,000 which saw four players call including Julian Aguirre on the button and Espen Jorstad in the big blind.

The flop rolled out 1069 and action checked around to Aguirre who bet 8,700. In the big blind, Jorstad raised to 26,300 and all other players folded. With action back on Aguirre, he moved all in for 64,000 effective and Jorstad shook his head.

"I'm not happy about it," Jorstad responded while reluctantly putting his chips in the middle to put himself at risk.

Espen Jorstad: 66
Julian Aguirre: 87

The board ran out A8 and the straight held up for Aguirre against Jorstad's set of sixes.

The pot was pushed to Aguirre while Jorstad wished his table luck as the 2022 WSOP Main Event champion exited the field, ensuring that a new champion would emerge.

River Helps Jasinevicius More

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The river came the 5 and action checked to Jasinevicius again, who now checked back. His opponent showed 98 for the rivered flush, but Jasinevicius turned over QQ, making a full house on the same river card to take down the big pot.

Nielson Hits Miracle River To Skyrocket His Stack

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The action was picked up in a pot of over 140,000 on a board that read Q849. A player in the hijack checked to Allen Nielson on the button who bet 65,000 and his opponent moved all in for roughly 96,000. Nielson quickly made the call to put his opponent at risk.

"Do you have queens," asked the hijack before the cards were turned over.

"Yep," replied Nielson

There was a bit of confusion before the cards were finally tabled because the hijack assumed that Neilson had pocket queens.

Hijack: KK
Allen Nielson: AQ

The hijack was so relieved to see his cowboys were way out front, however, the river fell like a ton of bricks when the Q rolled off to give Nielson trips and send his opponent to the exit in brutal fashion.

Nielson scooped the massive pot to bring his stack well over the half a million mark.
