Three ways to the 6325 turn, Ludovic Heude bet 2,500 in the small blind and Barny Boatman was the only caller from the big blind. Heude bet again the Q river for 3,200 and Boatman called to get shown the Q9 for a rivered pair of queens. Boatman had that beat with the J4 for a straight to win the pot.

Baumann Gets Big River Bet Through

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Picking up the action on a board of 62953 and already more than 40,000 in the middle, Gaelle Baumann bet 34,000 from the hijack, a bet representing most of her remaining stack.

Soule Salmani on the button tanked for several minutes before the clock was called. Salmani allowed the clock to run for a few seconds before he folded as Baumann nearly doubled up without a showdown.

Sturm Instills Fear in his Opponents

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Leon Sturm raised from the button to 2,000, finding Anil Jivani in the big blind who defended.

On a flop of 525, Jivani checked the action to Sturm who bet out for 1,000.

"I'm sacred of you bro," Jivani announced as he opted to toss his cards into the muck.

"I had the best hand," Sturm replied as he flashed the A and raked in the pot.

Two Streets of Value for Feldman

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

A player in the hijack opened to 1,600 and Ryan Feldman three-bet to 4,200 from the cutoff, receiving a call from the initial opener.

The flop came 753. The hijack checked, Feldman made a continuation bet of 3,000 and the hijack made the call.

The hijack check-called another bet from Feldman on the 10 turn, this time for 5,100. Both players checked the 9 river.

The hijack turned over K5 for fourth pair and Feldman turned over 87 for a pair of sevens to take down a decent pot.

Disastrous Start for Day 1b Chip Leader Van der Spuy

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Jean-Pierre Van Der Spuy
Jean-Pierre Van Der Spuy

Jean-Pierre van der Spuy grabbed the chip lead on Day 1b, but his chip stack had already been mostly demolished, with just 35,000 chips remaining, when the action was caught.

Thomas Galusha then went all-in for around 15,000 from the cutoff and Van der Spuy called from the small blind.

Thomas Galusha: KxQx
Jean-Pierre van der Spuy: 1010

Galusha flopped a pair on 8QA and that would remain the best hand when the turn fell the 8 and the 6 river completed the board.

Another hit for Van der Spuy's stack as he now only plays roughly 25 big blinds. Meanwhile, Lawrence Chang has also lost some chips, while Jules Dickerson seems to be the biggest beneficiary of the chip trading, and is nearing the 400,000 mark.

Miles tabled his Q10 and that won the pot.

Neaman Gets Max Value and Busts Popowski

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

According to the table, Patrick Popowski and Asher Neaman were heads-up in a raised pot with a flop showing J72. Neaman check-called a bet from Popowski for 6,000.

On the Q turn, Popowski sent another bet for 8,700 after it was checked to him and Neaman check-raised to 20,000. Popowski made the call and Neaman announced he was all in blind on the river.

When the Q hit the river, Neaman actually shoved for his last 47,000 and Popowski called all in with less.

Neaman tabled AK for the nut flush and Popowski showed 9x9x before making his way to the exit.
