Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Gaelle Baumann
Gaelle Baumann

Gaelle Baumann open jammed from the cutoff for her last 34,000. Barak Wisbrod on the button called and the hand went to a showdown.

Gaelle Baumann: 88
Barak Wisbrod: A10

Although ahead, Baumann was in worse shape than she imagined as the small blind announced they too folded pocket eights.

The board ran out 24AJA which was enough to send Baumann to the rail.

The under-the-gun player opened 6,000 and the action folded around to Chris Moneymaker in the big blind who made the call.

"Would you have raised if there wasn't a camera there?" Asked Moneymaker, pointing at the camera crew beside the table.

"I think you know the answer," responded the raiser.

The 976 flop hit the felt, and Moneymaker led for 10,000. His opponent called.

When the 9 paired the board on the turn, Moneymaker fired again, this time 23,000 and his opponent instantly shot his cards toward the dealer.

Bertoli Finds a Set Up to Double Up

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

In a three-way pot, the flop was 8QK when a player bet 20,000 and Jesus Bertoli called while the third player folded.

The turn brought the 10 and Bertili's opponent sent 50,000 in the middle, putting Bertoli at risk for his last 39,500. The latter called to create the following showdown:

Jesus Bertoli: KK
Opponent: KQ

The 10 river didn't change anything and Bertoli double up with the full house.

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Tim Van Loo and Joel Shulruf were heads-up on a board of 8K9Q when Shulruf, on the button, bet 29,000.

Van Loo, partially covering his face with his hoodie, tanked for about a minute and rechecked his cards before raising to 120,000. It was then Shulruf's turn to tank as he took a few moments before releasing his cards with a sigh.

Adams Pulls Off Audacious Bluff

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Picking up the action on the river, Matthew Adams in the big blind was involved in a hand with Thomas McCartney in middle position. With the board reading 9JK2K and over 200,000 already in the middle, Adams pushed forward a bet of 185,000. That did not appear to sit too well with McCartney who told the table "I flopped the nuts, I've got queen-ten." After only a minute or two, McCartney open folded Qx10x but was shown the bad news after Adams flipped over A10 for the stone cold bluff. McCartney managed a "nice hand" as he saw a massive pot shipped towards his opponent.
