Chidwick Takes From Cha

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Action was joined on the turn, with the board showing Q6J5 and Stephen Chidwick checking from the hijack. P.J. Cha, the button, bet 10,000. Chidwick raised to 35,000. Cha took several moments before deciding to call.

The river came 3. Chidwick led out for 27,000, and Cha made the call. Chidwick turned over AQ for top pair, and Cha mucked his hand.

Reichenstein Rides a Flopped Set to Double Knockout

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Uri Reichenstein
Uri Reichenstein

Uri Reichenstein and Vitor De Souza Coutinho saw a flop of 643 with already around 70,000 in the middle and Matthew Silva all in from the big blind.

Coutinho led out for 37,000 from the small blind and Reichenstein called. The turn came the A and Coutinho then checked over to Reichenstein, who fired out 32,000.

Coutinho took his time before he called as the J fell on the river. He checked again and Reichenstein bet enough to put him all in.

Coutinho tanked for a few minutes before calling off his last 80,000 with KK. Reichenstein, though, had 66 for the flopped set. Silva showed AQ and asked to take a picture of the board before joining Coutinho on the rail.

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

In a three-way raised pot, the flop was 294 when the big blind checked to Benjamin Winsor who bet 6,000. Only Upeshka De Silva made the call from the button.

The turn was the 7 and this time Winsor check-called De Silva for 12,500.

The duo checked on the Q river and De Silva sent his cards into the muck after Winsor showed A9 for a pair of nines.

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Chance Kornuth
Chance Kornuth

With the full board of J949K showing, Reiji Kono bet 40,000 from the big blind. Chance Kornuth, who was the initial preflop raiser from the button, was the only other player to act. He looked at his opponent for a few moments before pushing out his stack of green 25,000-denomination chips, more than enough to put Kono all in.

Kono did not take long before folding his cards and watching Kornuth add chips to his growing stack.

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Ren Lin
Ren Lin

Ren Lin eagerly got the attention of PokerNews to recount a hand in which one of his own bluffs backfired.

Juan Maceiras Lapido raised under the gun to 5,000, Ren Lin three-bet from the cutoff to 15,000 and Lapido called.

On a flop of 4610, Lapido check-raised a bet of 13,000 from Lin to 36,000. Lin called.

The turned A checked through to the 10 on the river. Lapido bet out for 60,000, then Lin raised to 120,000. Lapido made the call.

Ren Lin: 98
Juan Maceiras Lapido: KQ

Lapido called down the river raise with just king-high and was correct in doing so. After recounting the hand to PokerNews, Lin was so impressed at the call he asked another player at the table to take a photo of both himself and Lapido together.
