Dai Picks a Better Spot

Tim Van Loo looked down at KK in the hijack and raised to 225,000. Shang Dai on the button then three-bet to 550,000 with 1010 as action went back to Van Loo, who moved all in.

Dai, with 1,750,000 remaining, tanked for about a minute before giving up his dominated pair.

"I know you had a pair of eights," tablemate Masato Yokosawa told Van Loo after the hand.

Boghean Doubles Through Berko

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Andrei Boghean opened to 200,000 on the button before Scott Berko three-bet to 800,000 out of the small blind. Boghean responded by moving all in for 1,825,000 and was snapped off by Berko.

Dyachenko Hits Trips To End Barnett

In a three-way pot on a board of 46Q4, Andrey Pateychuk bet around 900,000 and Hunter Barnett called before Pavel Dyachenko check-raised to bring a fold from Pateychuk as Barnett called off for his tournament life.

Dyachenko was ahead with trips and Barnett couldn't improve as the 7 bricked off on the river to mark his elimination.

Chan Doubles Off Silver, Takes Out Alache

Henry Chan was all in from the small blind for 1,725,000, Oscar Alache had his last 1,000,000 in the middle from the button, and Nate Silver in the big blind had them both covered and at risk.

Jones Sends Devore To The Rail

John Racener opened to 200,000 from early position and Sundiata Devore put in a three-bet to 625,000, leaving only 15,000 behind. It folded to Steven Jones in the big blind who shoved over the top for close to 2,800,000. Racener got out of the way and Devore called for his remaining chips.

It was a fair fight preflop, but when the board ran out 86225, it was the tens for Jones that won the flip to send Devore to the payout desk.

Ryder Doubles Through Perez

Alejandro Perez took a big hit to the stack soon after coming back from the break while Richard Ryder jumped out of his seat to celebrate a double for 3,400,000.

They had gotten it in after the J106 flop as Ryder held the JJ for top set while Perez revealed 66 for the bottom set.

The board completed with the 8 turn and 5 river and Ryder doubled.

Walton Beats Payne in Showdown

Having defended the big blind, Adam Walton checked the 106310 turn and Joshua Payne checked behind from an early position. The 7 river was checked by Walton again and Payne bet 550,000.

Walton called rather swiftly and Payne knuckled the table with a "good call, king high" before exposing the KJ. Walton earned the pot with the 53.
