Phillip Mighall raised to 5,000 from the hijack and was reraised by Bryce Yockey on the button to 17,000. Mighall made the call.
The flop came 8♠2♦2♥. Mighall check-called a bet of 12,000 from Yockey.
On a turn K♣ Mighall check-called once again this time for 22,000.
When the 4♠ peeled off on the river, Mighall checked to Yockey, and Yockey sent 135,000 into the middle. Mighall was not pleased with this situation, but begrudgingly made the call to be shown A♣K♠. Mighall mucked his hand.
No Limit Holdem
Youness Barakat opened to 4,000 from under the gun and Ben Lamb defended from the big blind. The flop fell K♦4♠4♣ and Lamb check-called a bet of 3,500 from Barakat.
The turn brought the A♠ and Lamb check-called another bet of 10,500 from Barakat. The 5♦ completed the board and both players knuckled the table. Barakat showed A♣2♣ and Lamb's cards went into the muck.
Pot-Limit Omaha
Three players headed to a flop of J♠4♠3♦ and Chris Brewer made a pot-sized bet of 41,000. Chongxian Yang called in position and Biao Ding wanted no piece of it.
The turn was the 4♥ and Brewer moved all in for his last 87,500 chips. Yang quickly called and tabled A♠K♠9♥4♦ for a flush draw that turned into trips. The river was 8♦ and Brewer collected his cards, sending them face down into the muck.
Daniel Negreanu ended an 11-year World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet drought last summer, and he could soon make it back-to-back years with a bracelet. But not if he can't outlast online poker legend, Viktor "Isildur1" Blom.
Both poker legends have reached the final table in Event #9: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship. Negreanu's playing to win the $470,437 first-place prize in the 217-player tournament. But he's also trying to secure his eighth bracelet, and to get off to a strong start at the 2025 WSOP, something he didn't do last year. Blom's shooting for his first WSOP title.
No Limit Holdem
Nick Schulman raised to 5,000 from the hijack, and when action folded to Dario Alioto, he moved all-in for 44,500. Shaun Deeb elected to call the 44,500 chip bet, but once Nick Schulman moved all-in for 150,000 effective, Deeb released his hand.
Dario Alioto: 7♣7♠
Nick Schulman: J♣J♥
The runout came K♦J♦6♦7♥9♥ which was enough for Schulman to build his stack toward the 400,000 mark, and bust Alioto.
No-Limit Hold'em
Danny Tang raised to 4,000 in the cutoff off of a short stack and was called by Nacho Barbero on the button and Zachary Grech in the big blind. The flop came 8♣8♦2♥ and the action checked to Barbero who bet 4,000. Grech called and Tang check-raised to 16,000. Barbero just called and Grech got out of the way.
The turn was the Q♠ and both players checked to the 6♥ on the river. Tang slid out a bet of 30,000, leaving just 1,000 behind. Barbero instantly shoved all in and Tang sighed in disappointment.
"Really, Nacho?" Tang asked as he flicked in his last chips. Barbero flipped over A♠8♥ for trip eights while Tang held K♠K♥ and was forced to reenter.
