Brewer Runs Hot

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Christine Brewer
Christine Brewer

After a player recalled how Christine Brewer had just cracked aces in a previous hand with her queen-seven off suit, Brewer found herself all in again with two opponents just a few hands later.

Lang Yi had opened from early position and Yansong Kou moved all in from the hijack for her remaining 300,000. Christine Brewer jammed on the button for 325,000, and Lang Yi called.

Yansong Kou: 88All in
Christine Brewer: QQAll in
Lang Yi: AA

Yi was ahead, and Brewer stood to watch the runout.

The JAK came on the flop, improving Yi but also giving Brewer outs with the straight draw.

Brewer hit on the 10 turn, and nothing changed on the 6 river, securing yet another huge pot for Brewer and eliminating Kou from the tournament.
