2025 World Series of Poker
The action was picked up when Angel Garcia on the button was already all in and at risk for 12,500 on 10♦8♦8♠J♦ against Damon Fine in the big blind.
Angel Garcia: J♥10♥
Damon Fine: 8♥7♣
Garcia hit two pair on the turn but Fine already flopped trips. The 7♠ river completed the board and Garcia was eliminated.
Murly Manokharan made it 1,000 under the gun. John McNeil was next to act, and he tossed in the 4,100 he had remaining. Michael Troutt called on the button, and Manokharan let his hand go.
John McNeil: A♠6♦
Michael Troutt: 10♠10♦
The K♥8♠9♠K♠9♥ remained free of aces, and McNeil said his goodbyes before he was sent to the rail.
Tetsuya Tsujisaka raised to 1,000 from under the gun and was called by Dakota Baggett in middle position, Artur Martirosian on the button, and Tim Reilly in the big blind.
Reilly checked to Tsujisaka on the 9♥K♥7♦ flop and he continued for 1,000. Baggett called and Martirosian squeezed to 5,000. Reilly and Tsujisaka quickly folded, but Baggett shoved to put Martirosian in for approximately 20,000 total.
Martirosian quickly called to put himself at risk and hands were revealed.
Artur Martirosian: Q♥J♥
Dakota Baggett: K♠Q♦
Baggett held the lead with his pair of kings, but he would need to fade both straight and flush draws to eliminate Martirosian.
The A♠2♣ runout bricked out and Baggett was sent the rest of Martirosian's chips.
On a board of J♥10♥7♦6♠ with 15,000 in the pot, Dennys Ramos moved all in from middle position for almost 41,000 and was called by Julian Milliard in the small blind.
Dennys Ramos: 5♥4♥
Julian Milliard: J♦J♠
Ramos with a flush draw and a straight draw ran into a set, and the A♣ did not help him so he was eliminated.
Pablo Ching raised to 1,100 under the gun before Marcus Garcia three-bet to 3,500 in the hijack. Ching four-bet to 11,500 and Garcia five-bet to 22,500. Ching then moved all in.
Garcia instantly buried his face in his hands and shook his head as he spent several minutes in the tank before eventually calling for around 45,000 more.
Marcus Garcia: Q♥Q♠
Pablo Ching: A♥A♠
Garcia's suspicions proved correct as Ching showed down a pair of aces. The A♣K♦J♥ flop gave Ching top set, and Garcia was drawing dead by the J♠ turn as Ching improved to a full house. The Q♦ river only served as a cruel tease for Garcia as he made his exit, while Shing raked in the massive pot.
