Hartt Stearns had raised from under the gun to 3,000 and was called on the button by James Bechtel. There wasn't much action until the J♣8♥3♠2♥J♦ river on which Stearns checked and quickly called a bet of 7,800. Bechtel tabled the Q♠10♠ for a missed gutshot and Stearns won the pot with the A♦K♠.
Zachary Smiley opened up the action as the shortest stack on the table, with a raise to 2,200 from early position. Venkat Chivukula found himself two doors down and went for another raise. He made it 5,500, and only Smiley called.
On a flop of 5♥K♦7♥ Smiley checked his option over to Chivukula, who continued small, for 2,800. Smiley didn't think for long before check-raising to 11,000, which got a swift fold out of his opponent.
A completed board of 4♣2♠2♥5♣5♥ was spread across the table with around 45,000 in the pot already. The action was on Martin Kabrhel in the cutoff who dropped in a rainbow bet, one of each color, making it 31,600.
Michael Zelman thought for a minute before splashing in a raise to 85,000. Kabrhel tried to engage in some table talk, even pointing out the large dog looming in the background of Zelman, but got no response at all. Kabrhel eventually called and Zelman turned over 5♦4♦ for a full house and Kabrhel sent his cards to the muck.
The board already showed 8♦K♥A♣10♦Q♦ with a pot containing around 70,000. Steven Taylor checked to Jackson Spencer who bet around 75,000, putting Taylor at risk for his remaining stack worth 26,500.
Taylor went deep into the tank and eventually folded after the clock had been called, revealing A♥K♦ for top two pair. Spencer grabbed the pot without showing his cards.
Table big stack Eric Bunch raised to 2,000 and received two callers as they headed to the 8♥7♣2♥ flop. No betting action led to the 6♣ turn on which Adrien Guyader bet 7,500. That was enough to win the pot for Guyader, who is one of several big stacks at this table.
Only one and a half rows of tables remain in Paris Yellow.
Lee Markholt raised to 2,200 in the hijack and Matias Ruzzi three-bet to 7,800 on the button. In the big blind, John Monnette pitched his cards and Markholt opted to move all in for 27,500. Ruzzi called.

The board ran out 9♠J♠Q♠J♥3♦ and the nines full of jacks was good for Ruzzi while Markholt was eliminated from the tournament.
Paul Zappulla opened under the gun to 2,300, which garnered calls from two players in middle position. Action then folded to Jack Gerberich in the big blind, who moved all in for 27,500. Only Zappulla called, and the cards were turned onto their backs.

The flop 2♦5♠4♠ gave Zappulla extra outs, adding a straight draw to his two overcards.
The turn 8♠ brought yet more outs for Zappulla, who now had a flush draw he could hit.
The dealer turned and burned the Q♠, and it was bad news for Gerberich, as his pocket jacks weren't able to hold on and he was eliminated from the tournament.
Players were already heads-up and on the 10♠Q♠Q♥ flop with a pot of around 15,000.
Erion Qoku had moved all in from the hijack for his remaining 19,600 and action was on Nicholas Ronyecz in the small blind to make the call. Ronyecz moved a chunk of his stack across into the pot and the players flipped their hands.

Qoku was at risk and behind but was hoping for an ace to come in or the gutshot straight draw. Unfortunately, Ronyecz was holding two of the kings.
The 2♦ turn and 10♥ river didn't do anything to save Qoku and he was eliminated in the second level of the day.
