Rene Von Reden: AK All in
Renmei Liu: AA

Liu had woken up with aces with a massive pot at stake. Vonreden got some outs on the K107 flop with a pair, but he improved no further on the 9 turn and Q river as Liu scored the knockout.

McSwiney Sends Warlow Out

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Joshua McSwiney
Joshua McSwiney

There were around 7,000 chips in the pot on a 96Q flop when Joshua McSwiney checked from under the gun and Louis Warlow bet 3,000 from the hijack. McSwiney then put in a check-raise to 13,500, before Warlow three-bet shoved for around 50,000. McSwiney didn't seem too impressed, but ultimately did make the call.

Louis Warlow: KQ All in
Joshua McSwiney: Q9

McSwiney found himself in the lead, but had to dodge a few more outs when the A hit the turn. Warlow had one shot to stay alive, but couldn't make it happen as the 7 filled out the board, which meant he was eliminated.

One Hundred Percent C-Bet

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Daniel Negreanu picked up 55 and raised to 3,000 in hijack. Brandon Paddock called in the big blind with 109 to see a flop.

The dealer flopped QA10. After a check, Negreanu bet 3,000, saying that the solver said it should be a100% c-bet, and when he didn't listen, it cost him.

Through the explanation, Paddock decided to fold and concede the pot to Negreanu.

Ace from Space Gives Mase a Double

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Mikki Mase
Mikki Mase

Mikki Mase and Frank Lagodich were heads-up in the blinds with around 24,000 in the middle going to the flop of 1098. Mase checked to Lagodich who bet 10,000 and Mase check-raised to 25,000 which Lagodich called.

The turn was the 2 and Mase checked again. Lagodich tossed in a bet of 26,000 and Mase called to see the A on the river. Mase quickly used both hands to put the last of his 50,600 chips in the middle which sent Lagodich into the tank.

Less than two minutes had passed before Mase asked if he could call the clock. The dealer obliged and Lagodich was given thirty seconds to act. Lagodich eventually called and Mase turned over AQ for a rivered pair, good enough to overcome the KK of Lagodich.

Steinberg Goes for Three Streets

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Max Steinberg
Max Steinberg

Action was picked up with roughly 7,000 already in the pot. Max Steinberg and Edward Hughes were the players contesting the pot and had a board showing Q3A in front of them.

Steinberg was first to act and placed a bet of 4,000, which Hughes called.

The turn 5 didn't slow Steinberg down, firing again, this time for 10,000. Again, Hughes called.

The dealer then burned and turned the 3 to complete the board. Undeterred by the previous street's action, Steinberg flicked in a single green chip, signalling a bet of 25,000. This bet was enough to get the job done, as Hughes returned his cards to the dealer.
