Alcindor Busts Cole on the River

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Christopher Alcindor raised to 25,000 under the gun and picked up calls from James Pillon in middle position and Ran Ilani in the small blind. Montgomery Cole then moved all in for 160,000 in the big blind and only Alcindor called.

Montgomery Cole: A6 All in
Christopher Alcindor: KQ

"I'll take that," Cole said after both players turned over their cards. He remained ahead as the board came J972, but Alcindor hit the Q on the river to win the pot and send Cole to the rail.

"Nice hand, buddy. Every time. It was nice playing with all of you," a still-smiling Cole told his tablemates as he wrapped an arm around Alcindor's shoulders and gave him a pat on the back before making his exit.

Lynskey Dispatches Park

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Christopher Park shoved for 147,000 from the cutoff and Alex Lynskey called with a covering stack from the big blind to put him at risk.

Christopher Park: A4 All in
Alex Lynskey: AJ

Park was in rough shape with a dominated ace on the 1085 flop but picked up a gutshot and the nut-flush draw on the 2 turn. The K river was a brick and Park exited the tournament area while Lynskey added more chips to his stack.

Conniff Hits a Trey to Send Ketendjian Home

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Asher Conniff raised to 30,000 on the button and Gevork Ketendjian moved all in out of the big blind for around 70,000. Conniff immediately called.

Gevork Ketendjian: A5 All in
Asher Conniff: A3

A chop looked like the most likely outcome as both players held small aces. However, the dealer produced a runout of 39QJ6 to give Conniff the best hand with a pair of treys on the flop. The pot was sent to Conniff, and Ketendjian was out.

Naranja Runs Into a Monster

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Damon Fine raised to 24,000 in early position before Agustin Naranja three-bet to 75,000 in the cutoff. Fine then four-bet to 180,000, Naranja moved all in for 320,000, and Fine snap-called.

Agustin Naranja: AK All in
Damon Fine: AA

Fine had woken up with aces to leave Naranja at risk of elimination, but the K410 flop gave Naranja some outs with a pair. The turn was the 4, while no miracles arrived for Naranja on the 10 river and he was sent to the rail.

At the same table, Ruben Correia has built up a stack of more than 3,000,000.

David Jackson
David Jackson

Ronald Ong kicked things off with an under-the-gun raise to 24,000. As action folded to David Jackson in middle position, he bumped it up to 80,000, and Ong made the call.

On the 623 flop, Ong checked, and Jackson continued for 135,000, which prompted Ong to go all in. Though it put him at risk, Jackson snap-called.

David Jackson: AKAll in
Ronald Ong: QJ

Ong was chasing the flush, whilst Jackson had ace high for a possible double-up. The 10 on the turn didn't change anything, but the 9 river gave Ong the flush and sent Jackson packing.
