There were over 22,000 already in the middle when this hand was picked up on a board of 3♦6♠Q♥7♦.

Naveen Sama put out a large bet of 30,300 from middle position, and David Lee hung in there with a call on the button.

The 6♦ river did not deter Sama as he opted to go all in for 38,500. Lee gave it some thought and called for less to put himself at risk.

Sama showed A♥Q♦ for queens and sixes, which was enough to elimiante Lee who tabled 10♠10♦ to bow out from contention.

After a bet to 1,800 by Lawrence Cook under the gun on J♣K♥5♦, John Reading in the small blind called. Oscar Valle Rodriguez in the big blind however decided to go all in for 17,400. Cook folded, then Reading went into the tank before calling.

Valle Rodriguez was in the lead with top pair, but after the A♦ turn, Reading rivered two pair with the 10♦ to send Valle Rodriguez to the rail.

With Pillon already all-in, Hunkins checked the 3♦5♣J♣ flop, and Lee immediately moved all in for his remaining 39,200. Hunkins went deep into the tank before reluctantly folding.

Raymond Mahar opened to 1,600 from middle position and Frank Covich, who was sitting to Mahar's direct left made the call.

The 10♣3♣6♥ flop saw Mahar bet 3,100 and Covich jammed for 10,200 putting himself at risk for his tournament life. Mahar made the call, and the pair went to showdown.

Covich had flopped top pair, but it wasn't holding up against Mahar's pocket aces.

As retold by Renan Revinthis, Aylar Lie had opened under the gun, and he called next to act. Lie then checked the A♠4♠Q♣ flop over to Revinthis, who bet. Lie called, and she check-called Revinthis next bet on the A♦ turn as well.

The 4♥ river prompted Lie to lead out for a pot-sized bet of roughly 10,500. Revinthis moved all in over the top, and Lie called off her remaining 38,000.

Revinthis revealed quads with 4♦4♣. Lie had rivered a full house with A♥K♠, but it was no good as she departed the Main Event shortly after entering.

With about 4,000 in the pot, Gonzalo Velozo checked from the blinds on the 6♥10♠A♠ flop, and David Benyamine fired 2,000 from middle position. Velozo called.

Velozo check-called a second barrel of 3,500 from Benyamine on the 3♥ turn.

The K♠ completed the board, and Velozo elected to lead out for 6,000. Benyamine, who had about 10,000 left in his stack, jammed and was quickly called.

Benyamine tabled 6♠6♣ for a flopped set, but had been rivered by Velozo's 8♠5♠ for a flush. Velozo climbed back towards the starting stack, while Benyamine's Main Event came to an early end.
