Joshua Horenstein raised to 700 from early position, with Timothy Kuok calling from the next seat. Timur Margolin, who had just one black T-100 chip remaining, committed it from middle position. The big blind also called, and they went four ways to the Q♣3♦10♣ flop with Margolin all-in.

Action checked to Kuok, who bet 800. Horenstein was the only caller.

The 8♦ brought another check from Horenstein, and Kuok fired again, this time for about 2,500. Horenstein folded, and the cards were tabled with Margolin at risk.

Steven Cho was in the cutoff with a raise of 2,500 in front of him before Anthony Marquez reraised to 6,800 under the gun. Cho then reraised to 37,500, Marquez moved all in for 45,000, and Cho snap-called.

Marquez had run his kings right into Cho's aces, and the 8♦2♠5♥3♠4♠ board improved Cho to a straight to send Marquez to the rail.

Garett Maybery bet 1,600 from early position on a flop of 3♣10♣J♥ and Matthew Brown raised to 4,500 in the hijack. Tetsuma Ishizu then raised to 11,000 under the gun, and only Maybery called.

The turn was the 5♦ and Ishizu bet 16,000. Maybery then moved all in, and Ishizu snap-called for 52,000.

Maybery showed 3♦3♠ for a set, but Ishizu had 10♥10♠ for a set of tens. Ishizu was poised to take the massive pot and double up until the 3♥ fell on the river, giving Maybery quads and the knockout. Ishizu shot back in his seat in disbelief before getting up and exchanging a fist bump with Maybery as he headed to the rail.

As recounted by Bryan Buonocore and Nicolas Vayssieres, Vayssieres made it 500 from under the gun and was called by Buonocore in the small blind. Patrick Lander then squeezed to 1,500 from the big blind and both Vayssieres and Buonocore called.

The flop came 9x8x4x and Buonocore checked to Lander, who continued for 2,000. Both Vayssieres and Buonocore called.

An Ax fell on the turn and Buonocore checked. Lander bet 2,000, which got a fold from Vayssieres, but a check-raise from Buonocore to 7,000. Lander called.

A Kx completed the board and Buonocore fired 12,000 into the middle. Lander responded with a shove and Buonocore tank-called with 8x8x for a set. Lander could only show 6x5x for a busted gutshot and was eliminated.
