Ole Askeland opened to 3,000 from under the gun before Liv Boeree responded with a three-bet to 10,000. Askeland asked to see her stack before he went all in to put Boeree to a decision. Boeree gave it some thought before she put in the call to put herself at risk for 54,500.

Boeree was in a terrible bind as her pocket jacks were dominated by the pocket kings of Askeland.
The 9♣Q♠6♠ flop did not offer too much for Boeree to work with.
Boeree's situation did not improve on the A♥ turn, giving her one pull at two outs for her Main Event life.
There was no miracle on the 3♥ river as Boeree busted in Day 2abc.

Rory Smyth raised to 3,000 from under the gun and Barbara Enright moved all in from 8,500 next to act. Action folded back around to Smyth who called and Enright was at risk.

Kevin Rabichow was already all in for a bit over 30,000 from early position against Leo Lombardozzi, who had Rabichow covered from the big blind, on a board of 6♦A♥J♥9♣.

Rabichow found himself drawing to two outs against Lombardozzi's two pair, and the 8♠ river bricked out — eliminating Rabichow late in the evening.

Nicklaus Thompson raised to 3,000 from early position, and Hattori Lopez three-bet to around 9,000 from the next seat. When the action got back to Thompson, he four-bet to 25,000. Lopez jammed, covering Thompson, who called off his remaining stack of around 75,000.

Thompson was in great shape to double after the 8♦4♥2♥8♥ runout left his queens in front, but the A♦ river had other ideas. Lopez spiked an ace to win the pot and bring Thompson's Main Event run to an end.

Christopher Chaudey raised to 3,500 in early position and Kaito Hashimoto three-bet to 10,000 in middle position. Chaudey then moved all in, and Hashimoto called.

Both players turned over two kings and were poised to chop the pot as the flop came 3♣J♠5♣. The Q♣ turn gave Chaudey a flush draw, and he hit his draw on the A♣ river to win the pot.
A devastated Hashimoto slunk back in his seat as the dealer counted out the stacks. Chaudey had 118,000, while Hashimoto had 115,000 and was eliminated.
"You're staying the rest of the day," Chaudey said to his masseuse.
"She's staying with you the rest of the week," another tablemate added.
"My regular one who always works with me wasn't available today, now she's not going anywhere," Chaudey said.
