Foxen Hits Royal Flush, Augusten the Victim

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

Alex Foxen raised to 30,000 in the cutoff, and Aaron Augusten responded by moving all in for 235,000 from the big blind, which Foxen called.

Aaron Augusten: 99 All in
Alex Foxen: AQ

The KJ7 flop left Augusten in a world of hurt, as Foxen flopped the nut flush to fly into the lead. Any hope that Augusten had left was well and truly crushed on the turn, as Foxen improved to a royal flush on the 10.

The inconsequential 10 river completed the board, and before the dealer mucked the board and pushed the pot in Foxen's direction, Augusten took a photo of the board and headed out.

Bluff of the Tournament from Lacoste

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Mark Lacoste
Mark Lacoste

Action picked up on the river in a hand between Mark Lacoste in the small blind and Samy Dubonnet from early position, but the action was recounted to PokerNews by the table.

Dubonnet had opened second-to-act and Lacoste flatted in the small blind.

On the Q103 flop, Lacoste led out with a bet and Dubonnet called.

Lacoste led again on the 5 turn and Dubonnet called once more.

There was 455,000 in the middle as the two saw the 2 river. This time, Lacoste checked it over to Dubonnet who bet 375,000. Lacoste responded with a check-jam for 1,175,000 effective as the covering stack, sending Dubonnet deep into the tank.

Several minutes would pass before Dubonnet conceded the pot. As the pot was pushed towards Lacoste, he kept a straight face as he tossed QJ into the middle, turning his pair of queens with a spade blocker into a bluff.

The table fell silent as they witnessed one of the largest pots of the tournament as Lacoste's fearlessness was rewarded.

Alex Foxen raised to 30,000 under the gun. It folded to Wesley Fei in the big blind, who called. Fei put on his sunglasses before he led out for 30,000 on the 986 flop.

Foxen called and did so again when Fei sized up to 45,000 on the 7 turn. Fei then slowed on the 4 turn with a check. Foxen aggressed with a bet of 180,000, and Fei folded to concede the pot.

Zamani went deep into the tank and let out a few giggles before deciding to fold.

"Please show me a bluff. Please!" Zamani pleaded to Hebbar, who began to move his cards toward the muck.

"I will pay you $100 right now to see!"

Hebbar paused and then showed A10 for the nuts after Zamani pulled out a Benjamin.

"Thank you! I had the jack of clubs," Zamani said.

Josh Arieh shoved for his last 90,000 first to act and was called by Siebe den Hartog in the cutoff to be put at risk.

Josh Arieh: JJAll in
Siebe den Hartog: A10

The K74 flop was safe, but the 10 turn gave Arieh a bit of a sweat after pairing den Hartog's ten.

The 6 river bricked out, however, and Arieh was awarded a much-needed double-up.

"It never ends," Zamani bemoaned, prompting Madan to table 88.

Zamani could only laugh as the pot was shipped to his neighbor and he was left with just over ten big blinds.
