Nicola Karl then squeeze-jammed for 1,340,000 from the button, and Mart moved all in over the top for around 3,000,000. Bordet, who had a similar stack to Mart, went deep into the tank before folding, flashing JxJx as he did.

Karl was crushed by Mart's big slick, and with neither player improving on the 8♠8♥2♦9♣5♥ runout, Mart's ace-high won the pot, and Karl was eliminated from the Main Event.

Mart's stack received a huge boost, while Bordet had to walk away from the table knowing his pocket jacks would have held up.
