Rean Dashes From His Seat

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Nirath Rean opened to 500,000 from early position. Jamie Dwan raised to 1,200,000, leaving only 20,000 behind on the button. Eugene Zhou popped it to 1,900,000 from the small blind. Rean called the raise from Zhou, leaving only 200,000 behind, while Dwan flicked in his final 20,000 to go all-in.

The 463 flop led to Zhou shoving. Rean put the rest of his stack into the pot at risk as Zhou had both covered.

Jamie Dwan: AJAll in
Nirath Rean: KQAll in
Eugene Zhou: 99

Zhou had both beaten with two cards to go.

The 7 turn was of no consequence to anyone, but the river was all Rean when the Q peeled to give him a pair of queens. This sent Rean into a celebration that saw him dash away from the table in jubilation before returning with a beverage he had ordered earlier to collect his chips.

"Most People With Miller In Their Name, Do Not Call There"

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Action was picked up on the river with a board of J88Q8. Matthew Miller was in a long think tank in the hijack position, as he faced a big river bet from Daniel Fuhs of 1,200,000 into a pot of about 4,000,000. The table was very patient awaiting Miller's decision.

Suddenly, Miller exclaimed, "Fuck it," threw the chips into the pot, and announced, "Flush."

Fuhs stated calmly, "A flush is good, I thought I could get you to fold," and "Most people with Miller in their name fold in that spot," jokingly.

Fuhs turned over 109, and Miller held K9 for the flush and the win.

Cross Gets Lucky

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Scott Manzi opened the action with a raise to 400,000 from the hijack. Arthur Teisseire opted to flat from the button, before Peter Cross put in a three-bet to 1,600,000 from the big blind. Only Manzi made the call.

Action checked all the way on a board of 48693 and Cross tabled A6 for a pair of sixes. "You got lucky!" said Manzi, showing the table that his AQ had been beaten. Teisseire showed visibly frustration about his fold.

Turn Bet By Manzi

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Scott Manzi opened to 400,000 from the cutoff, and Jeremy Brown called from the big blind.

Both players checked the 8KA flop to bring the 10 turn.

Manzi chose to bet 570,000, and that was enough, as Brown folded his hand to yield the pot to Manzi.

The board started off heartbreaking for Eystern with A23. Tahar's set of aces was looking good, but then the6 turn, and the 5 river brought him the flush that saved his tournament life.

Both remaining players checked the 263 flop to bring the 5 turn. Lozano bet 1,200,000 and was called by Moroz.

Lozano and Moroz both checked the J river to go to a showdown.
