On the turn K, Love took a chance and bet 100,000, and Rodriguez called.

Both players checked the river 5, and Love mucked after Rodriguez flipped over AQ, for ace-high kicker to the two pair on the board.

Le Leaps Up the Ranking

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

With around 750,000 in the middle already, the board read 535AJ.

Marc Wolpert bet 475,000 from middle position for Quoc Le to raise to 1,275,000, from the hijack, which was about what Wolpert had in front of him in total. Wolpert went into the tank for a while. He counted out his chips and then opted to fold.

"Wanna see?" Le asked Wolpert.

"I wanna see," Wolpert responded.

A friend came over and Le said Wolpert didn't want to see the cards but Wolpert reacted that he did.

"Give me $100, and I'll show," Le quipped. Wolpert shook his head and the cards went into the muck.

Jack-High Good Enough for Korn

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Garrett Crites in the big blind and Andres Korn on the button had already built a pot of 130,000 when the flop dropped K45.

After action was checked to him, Korn fired 40,000. Crites called to see the next card.

Both players checked the Q turn. On the Q river, Crites restarted the action with 80,000. Korn called.

Crites showed 76 for a busted straight draw. Korn turned over J8 to take the pot, to the surprise of Qing Lu, who was at the table, and said, "You called with jack-high?"

Belluscio Wins Some, Loses Some

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Julio Belluscio and Shannon Peace had already built a pot of 500,000 on a board of 33Q2K. After action was passed to him, Belluscio fired 225,000 sending Peace to the tank.

Peace took considerable time and apologized for the time he was taking. Finally, he mucked his hand. Belluscio was gracious enough to show him Q5 for a rivered flush. Peace mentioned that he had queen-ten but that Belluscio could have the pot this time.

A few hands after, this time with 160,000 in the pot beside a board of Q54J, Belluscio fired 100,000 against his opponent in cutoff, Chad Layne. Layne called to see the last card.

The river 10 fell, and after Belluscio checked, Layne fired 400,000 into the pot, sending Belluscio to the tank. It was his time to concede both his hand and the pot to his opponent.

Korn Makes Le Give Up

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Quoc Le raised to 60,000 from the cutoff for Andres Korn to three-bet to 145,000 from the button. The blinds folded, and Le made the call.

The flop came JJK. Le check-called the 45,000 bet of Korn.

The turn was the Q. Le took over the initiative and bet 215,000. Korn called.

The river completed the board with the 8. Le checked for the final time. Korn looked over to Le and fired a bet of 775,000. Le asked the dealer to confirm the bet, and the dealer did. Le contemplated his options for a while, but then opted to fold.

"Just for PokerNews," Korn said while holding up his cards, but those weren't looked at.

"I'm part of the media, you can show me," another player at the table commented, but the cards were already in the muck.
