Ivey Looks to Rebuild

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Affif Prado opened to 2,500 from under the gun and Phil Ivey three-bet to 11,000 from middle position. Action folded around to Eric Bonin in the big blind who called and Prado also topped up to call.

The Q35 flop was checked around to see the 3 turn. Action checked to Ivey who bet out 20,000 leaving some small change behind. He saw two quick fold from his opponents allowing him to pick up a sizeable pot to add to his short stack.

Despite winning the hand, Ivey had taken a significant tumble in the counts since returning from the break.

The 10 completed the board, and Pandilica fired out for full pot, 84,500. Negreanu elected to fold, and was immediately shown KQJ10 by Pandilica.

"No! I had threes full," Negreanu told Pandilica, who clearly enjoyed windmilling his bluff across the table.
