Vieira Spikes Seventh to Double

Level 8

Seven Card Stud

Joao Vieira: AQ / Q263 / Xx All in
Calvin Anderson: J4 / J559 / Xx

Vieira completed, Anderson raised, and Vieira called. On fourth, Vieira check-called.

Anderson led fifth with open fives. On sixth, Anderson bet and Vieira called all in for his final 2,700.

Anderson held jacks and fives against the queens of Vieira, who needed to find another queen or pair to survive. Anderson flipped over the 9 to make a trivial better two pair, before Vieira revealed the A on seventh, and he collected the double.

Level 8

Omaha Hi-Lo

Action was picked on the flop with five players and 25,000 in the center.

The flop rolled out 2Q8 and action checked to Yong Wang in early position who bet and Paul Zappulla raised in the hijack. Joao Vieira raised in the cutoff and both Wang and Zappulla called.

On the turn 10, Wang bet to see both of his opponents call.

Wang checked the river 2 to see Zappulla bet and earn two calls.

"Quads," said Zappulla as he showed AK22 for four twos. Vieira showed QQ queens full as he mucked his hand, while Zappulla climbed over the six-figure mark.
