Strelitz Takes Out Eveslage and Mozdzen

Level 7

Daniel Strelitz raised in middle position to see Chad Eveslage raise in the small blind. In the big blind Clayton Mozdzen raised and both Strelitz and Eveslage called.

The flop rolled out 1082 and Eveslage checked to Mozdzen who bet and Strelitz called. Eveslage raised, Mozdzen raised, and Strelitz raised to put both of them all in. Eveslage and Mozdzen called with Mozdzen slightly covering Eveslage.

Chad Eveslage: QJ All in
Clayton Mozdzen: JJ All in
Daniel Strelitz: K10

Mozdzen's overpair was leading against the pair of tens in Strelitz' hand and the gutshot in Eveslage's. That changed on the turn 10 which gave Strelitz three tens. The river 2 further improved Strelitz to a full house as he eliminated two of his table mates.

As Matusow peeled his last card, Daniel Negreanu at an adjacent table came over with his vlogging equipment to see if Matusow could find another pair. However, he was unable to do so, flipping over the 3 as he got up from his seat.

"I'm gonna kill somebody!" Matusow screamed as around half the Paris Ballroom turned their heads in confusion.

"Is that not what he [Phil Hellmuth] said?" Matusow continued, "Something about burning the place down," in reference to Hellmuth's infamous rant at a Stud final table a few years back.

Negreanu spent the next 60 seconds helping Matusow untangle his backpack from his collection of chairs, and Matusow took his leave from the tournament area in silence.
