Amsellem Having Fun

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Omar Eljach had put out a three-bet to 75,000 from the cutoff when Jacob Amsellem made it 187,000 to go from the small blind. The action folded back to Eljach, who made the call.

The 257 flop then appeared and Amsellem promptly shoved all in, covering the 525,000 chips of the defending champion.

Eljach thought it over for a bit but ultimately folded.

"I bet you're having fun," another player said to Amsellem as he stacked up his newly acquired chips, to which he responded with an affirmative smile.

Tsai Jams Into Neugebauer

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

In a duel late position versus cutoff, Max Neugebauer checked the KQ106 turn and then called a bet worth 360,000 to see the 2 on the river. Neugebauer checked again and fellow big stack Eric Tsai then pushed all-in.

The count was asked upon and the shove of Tsai was for 810,000 total.

"Looks like jacks or queens," Neugebauer all but whispered and folded a few seconds later.

By claiming that pot without showdown, the poker streamer and vlogger from Taiwan jumped to more than two million in chips.

Zhou Left Short

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Quan Zhou and Adrian Mateos were heads up on a monotone board of 89K4. Zhou bet 19,000 from the hijack and Mateos made the call from the cutoff.

The 9 river then completed the board and Zhou slowed down with a check. A bet of 62,000 followed from Mateos and Zhou tanked a few minutes before folding his hand, leaving himself with just over ten big blinds.

Boghean Spikes the Flop, Dusco Hits the Turn to Double; Eljach Takes Out Descultu

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Alexandr Dusco moved all in for 166,000 in the cutoff and Andrei Boghean called in the big blind.

Alexandr Dusco: AK
Andrei Boghean: KQ

The flop came 7Q2 and Boghean pulled in front with a pair of queens. "What the f**k," a frustrated Dusco said as he stood up from his seat, but the A arrived on the turn to put him back in the lead.

The river was the 7 and Dusco doubled up. "Sorry," he said to Boghean.

At another table, Claudiu Descultu was all in for 65,000 and Omar Eljach reraised on the button, forcing out the rest of the table. "Protection," he told Descultu.

Claudiu Descultu: J3
Omar Eljach: A3

Eljach had Descultu dominated as the board came 4A59Q, giving Eljach top pair and the knockout.

Post Bubble Doubles For Naselli and Sander

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Omar Eljach jammed out of the small blind with the K4 and Fabrizio Naselli called with the A10 for the 102,000 he had behind in the big blind. The QJJ5K runout gave Naselli broadway.

Philipp Sander then had all but the last 2,000 in the middle on the button, Ruslan Volkov called in the big blind. They checked to the K3223 river on which Volkov bet 5,000. Sander called all-in with the A3 to double through A10.

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress and Andrea Dato were heads up on a flop of 7Q4. Dvoress checked from the big blind and Dato bet 22,000 in the pot of 60,000. Dvoress made the call and the Q turn was dealt.

Both players checked, as did they on the 2 river. At showdown, Dvoress tabled J7 for a pair of sevens and Dato showed A7 for the same pair but with a higher kicker to rake in the pot.

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Weiran Pu
Weiran Pu

Weiran Pu moved all in for his last 170,000 in the hijack and was immediately at risk when Alex Keating called in the cutoff. The rest of the table folded, leaving Pu heads up on the bubble.

Weiran Pu: AQ
Alex Keating: AA

Pu ran into Keating's pocket aces but did pick up a flush draw on the 7K2 flop. He was unable to improve further on the 2 turn or K river, as Keating took down a nice pot while Pu bowed out in 124th place.

All 123 remaining players are now in the money, with the tournament no longer hand for hand.

Pudel Bad Beats Kim Two Away From the Money

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Gab Yong Kim
Gab Yong Kim

Bruno Desimoni opened the action with a raise to 25,000 in the hijack and Gab Yong Kim pushed all-in on the button for 205,000. Nils Pudel tanked for more than two minutes in the small blind, glanced over at Desimoni's stack and the tournament info before placing a single chip for the call, Desimoni folded.

The other tables finished their hands and the cards were revealed.

Gab Yong Kim: AK
Nils Pudel: AQ

There were some groans from bystanders when the Q appeared in the window followed by the 82. Nothing changed with the 3 since neither player had a club in their hand. The 2 fell on the river and Kim was eliminated two spots away from the money, the field is now on the stone bubble.

Kim Eventually Folds

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Bruno Desimoni raised to 25,000 from the cutoff, and Gab Yong Kim was the only caller, from the small blind. Kim then check-called the 20,000 bet of Desimoni on the QQ6 flop before the 5 was turned.

Kim checked again and faced a bet of 45,000 this time. At this point, this was the last table on which a hand was played and media started to gather around the table.

Kim folded after another tank, however, and the cameras dispersed.
