WSOP Day 11: Bonomo Among Leaders in $5K NLHE, Zinno Leads Dealer's Choice
After winning the $10,000 Heads-up Championship on Friday, Justin Bonomo showed no signs of letting up – finding himself among the chip leaders going into Day 2 of the Big Blind Antes $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em. Former WPT Player of the Year Anthony Zinno retains a chip lead in the $10,000 Dealers Choice 6-Handed.
It should be an exciting day on Saturday with a winner crowned in the $1,500 H.O.R.S.E., the Millionaire Maker getting underway, and much more.
Event #15: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E.
This event was supposed to be a 3-day affair, but an extra day was needed as two players remained as the clock came close to 3 AM on Friday.
The winner will be crowned on Saturday when heads-up play finishes after tournament organizers added an extra day after 14 hours of play on Day 3. When play ended, it was Andrey Zhigalov (3,080,000) with a slight chip lead over Timothy Frazin (2,510,000).
Zhigalov, from Russia, has over $350,000 in lifetime live tournament winnings and is looking for his first bracelet. Frazin has $617,000 in tournament winnings, and this would be his first bracelet and the biggest win of his career also.

Event #17: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed
After two days of play, Gabriel Baumgartner leads the remaining field of 27 with 987,000 chips. With just a bit more than $10,000 in career tournament winnings, this would be his biggest live cash and first gold bracelet if he can make it to the winner’s circle.
The winner of this event will take home $293,275 after 1,663 players ponied up to the tables for a $2.2 million prize pool. Other tops stacks still remaining include Alexandro Tricarico (983,000), and Luke Brereton (767,000). Ryan D’Angelo (585,000), Nick Schulman (280,000), Day 1 chip leader Bart Lybaert (716,000), Tristan Wade (280,000), and Joey Weissman (364,000) are also still in contention.

Event #18: $10,000 Dealers Choice 6-Handed
This big buy-in, multi-game final table is set with Anthony Zinno (922,000 chips) leading the 13 players who remain. The others battling near the top include Adam Friedman (735,000), Alexey Makarov (709,500), Chris Klodnicki(560,000), and Joey Couden (536,000).
Zinno is no stranger to tournament success as a former WPT Player of the Year and three-time champion on that tour. This would also be his second WSOP bracelet after winning the $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller in 2015 for over $1.1 million. Other notables still in the field include Marco Johnson (450,000), Jesse Martin (370,000), and David “ODB” Baker (498,000).

Event #19: $565 Pot-Limit Omaha
The low buy-in PLO event moves into Day 2 after two flights of play on Friday. After the unlimited re-entries were tallied, there were 2,419 entries. Christopher Trang had the chip lead (402,000) in Flight A while Jeff Gibson topped Flight B with 374,000.
A few other notables remaining include Craig Varnell (90,000), 888poker's Vivian Saliba (73,000), Loni Harwood (218,500), and JC Tran (73,000). Ryan Laplante, 2016 winner of this event, also returns with 180,000. Day 1 featured 30 minute levels and shifts to one-hour levels on Days 2 and 3.

Event #20: Big Blind Antes $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em
The Big Blind Ante returns to the Rio for Day 2 on Saturday and Dan Colpoys returns as chip leader with 403,000 in chips. Rounding out the top three are Richard Tuhrim (229,600) and Jeremy Cate (180,800).
Others returning for the second day include Kitty Kuo, Kristen Bicknell, Erik Seidel, Anthony Spinella, Olivier Busquet, Kenny Hallaert, Seth Davies, Cliff Josephy, Greg Merson, David Pham, and Kathy Liebert.
Justin Bonomo (fourth in chips with 175,800) also returns. After winning the $10,000 Heads-up Championship earlier in the day on Friday, he jumped in and ran up a massive stack. The 2017 WSOP Main Event Scott Blumstein also returns to the Rio for Day 2.

Event #21: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em MILLIONAIRE MAKER
Grab your lucky charm and stay positive, everyone in this one has a shot at a million bucks – but you’ll have to weave your way through a packed field of rounders with dollar signs in their eyes.
There will be two starting flights, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Players begin with 7,500 chips and levels are 60 minutes long. Each player will be allowed one re-entry per flight. Day 2 begins on Monday in this four-day event.
Last year’s million-dollar winner was Pablo Mariz, who actually took home $1,221,407 and his first bracelet. The event produced 7,761 entries for a $10.5 million prize pool. Day 1 flights begin at 10 a.m., and PokerNews will be there for all the updates.
Event #22: $1,500 Eight-Game Mix
If huge fields like the Milly Maker aren’t for you (or you bust out), the mixed game fun kicks off at 3 p.m. and should produce a nice prize pool. The event features these games:
