Horseshoe Las Vegas Poker Room is Giving Out 25 WSOP Main Event Seats
Outside of GGPoker's online satellites, you won't find a better opportunity this Spring to win your way into the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event than a promotion run by the Horseshoe Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Strip resort, co-home to the WSOP, according to a tweet shared by Allen Kessler, is sending 25 players to compete in the $10,000 world championship event this summer. Poker fans learned on Monday during the schedule release that the Main Event will begin July 2 and play down to the final table of nine on July 15.
All remaining players will then return to action at an undisclosed date to determine who will become the next Michael Mizrachi. That champion could conceivably be someone who plays in games at Horseshoe over the next few months.
How to Win a WSOP Main Event Seat
The promotional period starts March 1 and runs until May 24, two days prior to the start of the 2026 WSOP. Players can qualify to win one of 225 total WSOP tickets by playing at least 100 hours in live cash games at Horseshoe, a Caesars Entertainment property.
On May 25, the poker room will host a $20 buy-in no-limit hold'em tournament at 11 a.m. for all the players who qualified. Racking up 100 hours of play is worth 20,000 starting chips in the tournament. But players will get an extra 5,000 chips for accumulating 125 hours of play, and 10,000 additional chips for hitting 150 or more hours during the promotional period.
There will be multiple prizes up for grabs, with the main rewards bing free entry into the WSOP Main Event to the top 25 finishers. Other prizes include a $1,000 WSOP ticket to 26th to 125th place, and a $550 Mini-Mystery seat to those finishing in 126th to 225th place. Horseshoe is giving out $400,000 worth of WSOP tickets to those willing to put in the grind in cash games over the next few months.
