Lisandro v. Doria II

Overheard from the rail before the following hand took place:

"Lisandro is going to nab all of that guy's chips before the night is over."

"That guy" is [Removed:415], who's been playing with fire over the last few hands, getting involved with Jeff Lisandro.

Moments ago, Doria was at it again, opening with a preflop raise of 2,100 and Lisandro challenged from the cutoff, as did an unknown player in the big blind.

The flop came {J-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and the action was checked to Lisandro, who fired a 4,000 bet. The big blind folded but Doria stuck around to see the turn -- {10-Hearts}.

One more check from Doria allowed Lisandro to fire an 8,000 bet which prompted Doria to lay down his hand.

"What about 6k? I know you can't do it online," Lisandro needled. "Only in the fruit market," he added, stacking up his newfound chips.

Lisandro: 43,000
Doria: 85,000

Cash Game Update

Million Dollar Cash Game

Rafi Amit, Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies and Tom "durrrr" Dwan are still playing their $300-$600 pot-limit Omaha cash game upstairs. The film crew has stopped filming and gone home for the night, but they'll be back tomorrow.

According to the staff, a lot of the players signed up to play, but then had a list of excuses:

"I'm at dinner."

"I'm stuck 900k in baccarat."

"I don't want to play with only four people."

"I don't know Omaha that well."

The staff did say that they are glad these guys playing got a game they are interested in playing and that tomorrow should be a packed game full of big names.

Goodbye Dahl-ing

Moments after getting slow-rolled, Erik Dahl moved all in preflop holding {a-Spades}{9-Clubs} and was called by Andy Rutherford who tabled {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}.

The flop rolled out {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{a-Diamonds}.

Dahl paired is nine and Rutherford made his way downstairs.

Stern Vs. Smith

Dani Stern and Elliot Smith seem to be battling in just about every hand. We've yet to see a showdiwn, and the damage seems to be relatively small to both players as they swap chips back and forth between them.

Smith sits at 105,000, while Stern has got himself back up to about 50,000 after slipping since coming back from dinner break.

Norinder Goes Runner-Runner

Preflop, Mikael Norinder made a raise to 2,100. His bet was raised to 18,100 by his opponent who set himself all in. Norinder made the call, tabling {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. His opponent was holding {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

The flop came down {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Norinder looked to be doubling up his opponent. It wasn't until Norinder found a {k-Clubs} on the turn and a {k-Spades} on the river that the entire table exploded in surprise with Tim Marsters saying, "You're going to remember that for the next few days."

Norinder now sits at 91,600 and his opponent has exited the Studio.

More Tanking

Action folded around to Erik Dahl in the cutoff seat and he shoved all in. It then moved over to Dario Caiazz in the big blind and he went into the tank. According to Van Marcus and the entire table, Caiazz tanked for several minutes before finally calling all-in. Dahl then rolled over {A-?} {7-?} and Caiazz waited to slam over his {A-?} {A-?}.

"What are you doing, man??!?!" questioned Dahl, upset at the fact that he just got super slow-rolled.

The board ran out clean for Caiazz and he doubled up. According to the table, Caiazz won his seat online in a $4 satellite on Party Poker and this is his first-ever live tournament. Shortly thereafter, Dahl busted and when walking out of the room, Caiazz said "Good game." to which Dahl just kept on walking and paid him no interest.

Lisandro Takes One of Mario's Lives

Jeffrey Lisandro was recently moved to chip leader [Removed:415]'s table and the two wasted little time before mixing it up with each other.

In a recent hand, Doria opened with a raise to 2,000 from the button and Lisandro looked him up from the small blind.

Flop: {J-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{5-Hearts}

First to act, Lisandro checked and Doria fired a 3,000 bet. Lisandro then check-raised to 10,000, leaving himself just 17,000 behind. Doria quickly released his hand, awarding the pot to Lisandro, who improved to 35,000 in chips. Lisandro flashed the {Q-Diamonds} before raking the pot.

Doria dropped to 90,000 in the lost.

Welcome to Tanksville, Population Cheong

We caught the action on a board that read {10-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{j-Spades} with the action between Kyle Cheong and Kristian Lunardi heads-up into a pot worth about 25,000 in chips.

It appeared that Cheong had been put to a big decision as he stared in Lunardi's direction, slowly and deliberately shuffling his chips, but after three minutes Lunardi leaned over and asked him what he was going to do.

"Oh, I already checked!" Cheong said, snapping out of his self-hypnosis. Lunardi took his chance and snap-shoved his last 10,500 in chips into the middle.

This time, Cheong actually went into the tank, but folded after about a minute.

Lunardi is up to 35,500 while Cheong slips to 61,500.

Glazier Misses

Jamie Glazier made it 2,200 to go preflop and was raised by his opponent who moved all in for 4,100. Glazier made the call.

Glazier tabled {a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and was behind his opponents {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

The board was no help for Glazier, who was on the verge of busting a player, when it ran out {j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Spades}.

Glazier is down to 81,000 as his opponent has survived.
