James Obst
James Obst has just been eliminated from the main event by Ben Savage. Here's how the hand went down, according to Savage:
Obst opened the pot with a raise to 400 and when the action found its way around to Savage, he kicked it up to 1,250. Obst made the call and the two saw the flop come . Obst checked, Savage bet 1,700 and Obst called.
A queen fell on the turn and both players checked, sending the action to the river, where another queen hit the board.
Obst then led out with a 2,600 bet and Savage raised to 6,000. Obst then moved all in and Savage made the call holding for queens full. Obst mucked his cards without showing, and Savage raked in the pot.
The sweet taste of revenge...
Todor Kondevski opened the action to 600 before Steve Topakas popped it up to 2,200 on the button. Play folded back to Kondevski who put in a four-bet to 7,000 to send "The Big Show" into the tank. After several minutes of thought he splashed a chunk of yellow 5,000-denomination chips into the middle to put Kondevski all in and he immediately made the call.

It was a rematch between these two players who went heads in the Melbourne Poker Championships Main Event last year. That day it was Kondevski who was victorious over Topakas to claim the title, but today Topakas was able to extract a small element of revenge as the board was spread .
Kondevski hit the rail as Topakas elevated himself to 60,000 chips.
Chris Moorman has recieved an early mark from the Aussie Millions Main Event.
After struggling earlier, it's doubtful that Moorman's stack ever went over the 20,000 that he started with.

Preflop, a player in middle position opened to 600 chips and the hijack made the call. Michael Marvanek popped it up to 2,100 from the the button and action folded back to the middle position opponent.
He took his time and counted off Marvanek's stack before firing out 6,600, which would be enough to set Marvanek all in. After tanking the hijack folded and Marvanek quickly called.
