Loeser Loses Out on the River

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Manig Loeser opened to 2,500 and the big blind called.

The two players checked the {4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop and turn and the river was the {k-Hearts}.

Loeser watched his opponent bet 5,000 and he called promptly. His opponent turned over {k-Spades}{3-Hearts} for a rivered pair of kings and the German mucked.

Ana Marquez
Ana Marquez

Rainer Kempe raised to 2,600 from middle position and was called by Ana Marquez in the cutoff as well as from the player in the big blind.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and the big blind checked. Kempe tossed out 6,000. Marquez followed. The big blind folded.

The turn brought the {5-Diamonds} and Kempe threw out 15,000. Marquez called shortly after.

The {4-Diamonds} completed the board and Kempe thought for a minute before pushing forward his larger chips and announcing all in. Marquez snap-called with 45,800 in her stack.

Kempe tabled {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for a pair of jacks. Marquez then flipped over {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the nut-flush and took down the large pot.

Rudelitz Rivers Zobian

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Aram Zobian raised to 2,700 from under the gun and was called by Enrico Rudelitz in the hijack as well as the player in the big blind.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades} and the big blind checked. Zobian continued for 3,500. Rudelitz called. The big blind folded.

Both players then checked the {9-Clubs} on the turn as well as the {k-Clubs} on the river.

Zobian flipped over {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for a pair but would lose out to Rudelitz who showed {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a higher pair on the river.

Assorted Counts From Level 10

Ogura Doubles Through Addamo

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

With around 10,000 in the pot and the board showing {10-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Hearts} Takashi Ogura bet 5,000 from the big blind before Michael Addamo raised to 12,500 from the next seat over.

Ogura thought for a minute before casually pushing his chips forward and going all in for 34,400. Addamo snap-called.

Ogura then flipped over his {q-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a full house and had Addamo drawing dead after he revealed {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for trip tens.

The meaningless {4-Hearts} completed the board and Ogura was awarded the pot.

Kempson Jams Up his Stack

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Wei Zhu takes a big hit
Wei Zhu takes a big hit

Corey Kempson raised in early position and picked up one cold-caller before Wei Zhu three-bet out of the blinds. Kempson four-bet to 21,500 and Zhu was the only caller. Zhu proceeded to check-call bets of 13,000 on the {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop and 19,000 on the {A-Clubs} turn.

There were close to 100,000 in the middle when the {4-Clubs} appeared on the river and Zhu checked once more. Kempson pushed all in for effectively 43,000, as that's what Zhu had left. It took more than seven minutes into the break when Kempson eventually called the clock and Zhu folded with 10 seconds to spare after he was given the one minute countdown.

Portaro Pressures His Opponent

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

The player under the gun plus one completed the call and was followed by Bruno Portaro in middle position before the player in the hijack raised to 6,500. Only Portaro called and the two players watched the flop come {6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

Both players checked before the {q-Spades} dropped on the turn. Portaro checked. His opponent bet 8,500. Portaro called.

The {8-Diamonds} completed the board and Portaro reached for his chips and tossed out 27,000. The bet was enough to see his opponent muck sending Portaro to over 200,000 in chips.
