Level 11 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Byron Kaverman
Byron Kaverman

Jesse Lonis opened the hijack to 22,000 and Byron Kaverman called from the cutoff. Aleksejs Ponakovs was in the small blind and squeezed to an even 100,000, which got Lonis to fold. Kaverman then ripped in around 500,000, and Ponakovs quickly called.

Byron Kaverman: QQ All in
Aleksejs Ponakovs: KK

Kaverman had run into it, but there was still a runout to sweat with five cards to come. However, none of those five cards helped as the 2A733 runout sent Kaverman to the rail.

Thorel's Stack Takes a Hit as Coleman Doubles

Level 11 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

There was an open before David Coleman shoved 212,000 from the small blind. Jean-Noel Thorel called from the big blind, and the initial raiser folded.

David Coleman: AQ All in
Jean-Noel Thorel: JJ

Coleman needed to win a flip to stay alive, but didn't find any assistance on the 2KK flop. However, help arrived in the form of a Q as Coleman paired his queen, which left him one card away from a double.

That double was confirmed when the 2 hit the river, and Thorel's stack took a hit.
