Tomasz Brzezinski raised to 200,000 in the cutoff and Yohan Rascar called in the big blind.
Both players checked the 9♥2♦6♣ flop. Rascar then led out for 250,000 on the 10♣ turn, and Brzezinski moved all in.
Rascar had around 600,000 remaining and used a time bank before calling. He showed 9♠7♦ for a pair of nines, but Brzezinski had turned a pair of tens with K♠10♠.
Rascar needed to improve on the river, but he missed the 6♠ and was sent to the rail in 11th place.
Sebastian Ionita raised to 200,000 on the button as action went on Youssef Zereg in the big blind. He looked down at A♥A♣ and three-bet to 650,000. Ionita gave up Q♣10♥.
The next hand, Julian Pineda Lozano raised to 200,000 on the button and Zereg moved all in for 1,600,000 in the small blind. Umberto Zaffagnini folded his big blind, while Pineda Lozano quickly called to put Zereg at risk on the second hand of the day.
Youssef Zereg: A♣J♥
Julian Pineda Lozano: 9♠9♣
The J♦J♠8♦ flop gave Zereg trips and the lead, while Pineda Lozano was left looking for just two outs after the 3♣ turn. Instead, the J♣ river improved Zereg to quads and gave him an early double up.

Yesterday's Day 5 wrapped up after a little more than four levels of play with the elimination of Brazil's Joao Webber, whose dream at an EPT title turned to a nightmare as he had aces cracked by the queens of Thomas Eychenne, who flopped a set just a few minutes into the fifth level of the day to put an abrupt end to the evening.
